Our Exotic Petal Design

Behold - the first completed petal! Max & Andrew designed the intricate and unusual pattern using no less than 13 unique types of bottlecaps. Can you spot all of them? Blended together, the bottlecaps create washes of color that smoothly transition between shades.  For me, the petal evokes the sensation of water - waves and drops and ripples. And I love it!

Our team of 60+ (and growing!) volunteers constructed this in about 10 days. It's so huge that we can't even take photos of it in our workspace - we had to move everything out of the room to do this final assembly. Thank you so much to all the volunteers who contributed countless hours stitching the 120 lines of the first petal.

So the real question is: How many bottlecaps do you think are in this petal??

Hint: it's more caps than the $550 dollars needed to hit our Kickstarter goal! Remember to tell your friends about us. We have a mere 10 days left to hit our goal, and we're so excited about it. So close I can touch it!

In beer we trust,
Becky, Max, Andrew, and the rest of the Bottlecap Crew
