June 21: Final Push!
We've got just about three days left for a really big finish! If we hit $2,500 before the campaign closes on Sunday at 4:40 p.m. everyone who pledges (even if it's just $2) will be entered into a drawing to win brunch with one of the fabulous Boston Babydolls at Lizzy's in East Cambridge, MA, one of our favorite brunch joints!
We'll pick you up in our 1956 Packard Clipper Deluxe and chauffer you in style over to Lizzy's where you can indulge in a artisanal cocktail and some of their homemade delicacies (Scratch is a big fan of their breakfast burrito).
June 8: New Bonus Award!
If we hit $2,000 everyone who pledges (even if it's just $2) will get an a-dorable, autographed picture of the troupe, just like the one that graces our FaceBook page (snazzy photo taken by Chris McIntosh).
And we've got our thinking caps on to see what we can come up with if we need a $3,000 bonus gift ;-). We love you guys!

The Boston Babydolls are hitting the road again!
Our summer 2012 tour is a tasty treat, an evening of burlesque that knows that the best way to anyone's heart is through their stomach. We'll be putting on the Ritz (cracker) to bring you a night of comedy, striptease, and magic inspired by the great wide world of food and drink. From saucy sauciers to dancing bananas, this show has something for everyone. It's a burlesque evening of good taste that also tastes good.
But running around the region shaking and shimmying can really work up powerful thirst and hunger, and the larder at Babydoll Tower is bare... so we need your help.
We have all the usual expenses of a show (costumes, cast & crew, promotion, and practice space) but touring brings its own special set of expenses – gas, tolls, food, lodging, and more. This year, rather than cramming everything into as many cars as possible, we're taking a trailer with us... but the trailer needs a little work. It was in an accident and not quite repaired right. Getting the alignment corrected will be more than $600, but we really want the trailer on this tour so we can bring more (and bigger) set pieces, props, and costumes.
A tour like this costs thousands of dollars to produce. We're not even asking for 10% of the money we're going to spend putting it on. As always, even $1 will help... and, as always, thank you for your support.
