HeXit will be a point-and-click adventure game. We believe that the atmosphere and the visuals of a game of this genre should be as spectacular as possible, so everything in the game will be presented in the form of pre-rendered graphics. We love sci-fi, exciting stories and police procedural television series. What we are trying to achieve is creating a game combining these elements, while focusing on a compelling storyline with twists and exciting adventures. We are trying our best to create a spectacular sci-fi world, which, on the one hand, looks amazing but will also exist as a realistic, richly-detailed and interactive environment in the atmosphere similar to the new Total Recall movie. Several side-stories and detailed in-game world await those who enjoy exploring everything in a game. There will be countless usable items which can be combined. HeXit will also involve several mini-games. There will be English language voice acting for all in-game dialogues.
Police officer Jane Davis unexpectedly finds herself in the middle of a hostage rescue operation conducted by operatives of a classified government agency. The sudden change of events puts sensitive information in her hands she would not have been supposed to see. Her curiosity drives her to start her own investigation. However, it clearly becomes clear that the agency wants to prevent her further involvement in the situation. It becomes obvious to her that if this sensitive material leaks to the general public it will shake the very foundations of society as we know it. A global conglomerate also wants to acquire this information in order to use it for its own purposes. As Jane delves deeper and deeper into the intricate web of conspiracy, she is contacted by the Resistance. This organization also works hard to make the best of the situation. Soon Jane has to decide which of the three sides to join; the government, the conglomerate or the Resistance. How will she use the secrets she is about to reveal? Will she make the right choice? Will she join the right side? Or will she keep everything to herself?
Just like the successful police procedural television series, HeXit is planned as an episodic adventure. If it is possible, we wish to release several installments. Currently, we would like to receive support for the making of the first episode, which will involve 6-10 hours of gameplay.
We presented our idea to several publishers. Their responses were more or less like 'well, this is a nice and well-crafted idea and demo, but we cannot finance it, because we find that sci-fi themes are not profitable nowadays'. However, we do believe that there is a demand for sci-fi adventure games. What is more, we think that our game would fill a void, and this is the reason why we started the development of HeXit in the first place. Each member of the team has worked previously as game developers. Some of us have more than 10 years of experience in the computer game industry. We have always been devoted and willing to commit our free time to this profession. The members of the team:

We firmly believe that there is a demand for science-fiction adventure games which offer a capturing storyline and a fascinating atmosphere. For months, we used our resources to create a preliminary version of HeXit which we can present to you. Completing the game is not up to us anymore. Now the question is that how detailed and how awesome we can make it, and how much time the development of the game would take. If you allow us to kickstart the project, then completing the game on the highest level of quality would take approximately 8 months. We put the fate of HeXit in your hands.
What do we need the money for?
- designing the visuals of the world divided into locations
- creating and purchasing character models
- creating character animations and purchasing mocap animations
- creating and purchasing 3D objects
- atmospheric cut scene videos
- composing a full soundtrack for the game
- voice actors
- involving a known sci-fi writer
- drawing and writing a comic book that will tell the prelogue of the story
- and of course to create the program code of the HeXit game
Multi-Platform Support (Windows, Linux, MacOs)
There will be a Windows, a Linux and a MacOS version of HeXit if the campaign succeeds. You can choose whichever version you prefer. It will be available in digital and in boxed copies.
An Extra Side Story
A new location with a few additional scenes and 20-30 minutes of extra gameplay with another character in the game. This is just a short addition to the story and you will not miss anything from the main plot as you will still get the result of that character's action if you don't have the unlock code. This is an exclusive offer for our backers.

We will contact Steam after the Kickstarter campaign is successful.
There won't be an open BETA testing.
The minimum and native resolution will be 1280x720 for the PC and Mac. It will run in windowed mode as well as full screen.
After we have closed the campaign as successful we will send out a survey and ask you which version you want if you pledged for a boxed copy or higher.
We definitely plan to have an iOS version of HeXit. Although we cannot guarantee that it will be ready with the other versions. We might need an additional 2-3 months to have it done plus the AppStore validation procedure.
An episode is a full game with a story form A to Z and 6-10 hours of gameplay. No cliffhangers. Although in each episode you will dig deeper and deeper into the world of HeXit. There are no seasons or such. Think of the first episode as a part one for a game that has more parts if it is successful. I hope this makes sense :)

The localization system is capable to use multiple languages for the subtitles. That means if someone from the community translates the texts to her language and posts the translation to us then we can distribute the new language files.
