JUNGLE QUEEN SHEVA is a 24 page one-shot comic (no gore, no nudity, btw) that follows the adventures of Sheva, a brave young girl in the African Kivuli Valley (Valley of Shadows), a mythical place "where legends go to die".
JUNGLE QUEEN SHEVA will be the first part of a trilogy of Sheva Oneshots as well as the first step into publishing the ZEU LIBRARY, where creator Eliseu "ZEU" Gouveia (Stargate, Cloudburst) will have the chance to finally channel his (finished and upcoming) personal projects onto paper. SHEVA was conceived in 2009 and drawn in 2010 and published online in 2015, so it is long over due to see this lady in print!
In this first SHEVA adventure, she will face a legion of legendary amazons who enter the valley searching for the Heart of Apollo, a terrifying weapon believed to have been lost during the fall of Atlantis. As the army advances, conflict ensues threatening the delicate balance of forces in the region and it's up to Sheva to defuse the situation.
Jungle Girl Sheva is an adventure comic in the vein of classics such as Tarzan or Flash Gordon, where action and fantasy take an unapologetic center stage.
There will be a REGULAR cover and a VARIANT cover, by creator/artist Eliseu Gouveai.
There will also be a VARIANT by London-based artist Richard Williams.
The Stretch Goals will revolve around introducing the ZEU LIBRARY, with all future titles like "Lady of the Horde", "Silversparrow", "Medusa", "Harlekin Waltz", "Infiniteens" and many more. The Stretch Goals will be Oversized Trading Cards to start with and depending how Sheva will be doing, the goals will expand into even more options.
ALL Unlocked Stretch Goals will be added for FREE to backers who choose a physical pledge!

"In West Philadelphia, born and..."
Nah, I'm just a Portuguese guy born in Mozambique who has been drawing for far longer than he'd care to admit.
I entered a few Comicon-contests while studying Electrotechnical Engineering before finally taking the plunge into the Art World as a School Books and Children's Books illustrator.
Somewhere along the line, someone created the Internet and I used it as a platform to make my artwork seen across the world, which eventually scored me enough gigs to dare call myself a comic artist.
Over the years I've worked on many-many comic projects and series, from Cloudburst by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray for Image Comics to Vengeance of the Mummy and The Phantom for Moonstone Books.
I've worked on Lorelei and Pandora Zwieback for Starwarp Concepts, I've drawn The Instinct for Cooperation: A Graphic Novel Conversation with Noam Chomsky as well as acting as a sketch card artist for Marvel Rittenhouse Archives.
Presently I provide artwork for several webcomic titles such as Granted and Bastard Kingdom, as well as doing the art for comic book franchise Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe for American Mythology comics.
RICHARD BOOM: Project Leader
Richard is hounding and haunting Zeu for years now, to get his stunning projects in print. And with his recent Kickstarter-success (Sisterhood) he felt it was the perfect time to man-up and just make sure everyone can see these glorious projects: by starting the ZEU LIBRARY!
Richard Boom started out in the comic industry as your regular fanboy, just reading comics and enjoying it even more due to the internet and making contact with creators. As his contact list grew, so did his interest in the complete field of comic. Starting up a Bad Grrl Comics Fan club in 2001 was the first step to go further then his own living room. Soon thereafter he began setting up fansites for Arthur Suydam, Eric Basaldua, Broadsword Comics and focusing on titles like Vampirella, Cavewoman, Hack/Slash and more... During a visit to a Belgium convention (F.A.C.T.S.) he even started working with the organization and since 2006 he has been officially affiliated with this convention, helping them when and where he can; from seeking sponsorships, contacting artists to be their guests to actually helping to manage the Artist Alley. At this convention he met the founder Broken Frontier and shortly thereafter began doing headlines for this news site. Later he founded the website COMICSFORSINNERS which more resembles his prior BadGrrl fanclub. Nowadays Richard dabbles in editing comics, doing comic book PR, translating comics, stopped working at FACTS in 2016 and has collected a lot of Hot Mummy sketches which he eventually turned into a comic book series in 2019 with the help of some amazing talented friends.
The comic book is all written and penciled.
All it needs: printing and shipping to get it in YOUR hands! And this is all up to YOU, lovers of the Ninth Art Form!
Shipping will be done worldwide via the ultra-reliable German postal services as they reside just mere minutes away from my town in the Netherlands. The extra perk of this, is the fact that Shipping via Germany is just as reliable as via my own country of the Netherlands, but cheaper for your wallet.
