Who Are We? BOMB Magazine, founded in 1981, is a non-profit arts & culture publication that delivers the artist's voice. BOMB publishes conversations between artists of all disciplines including visual artists, novelists, poets, filmmakers, performance artists, musicians, and more. Last year, we relaunched and expanded our website to feature new artist-generated work, published daily: interviews, essays, art portfolios, short fiction, and poetry.

Why Should You Support Us? BOMB believes in offering readers free and complete access to our website, including our archive of over 6,000 conversations, artworks, stories, and poems by over 7,000 artists. We also believe in supporting our contributors for their work: our first crowd-funding campaign helped pay over 200 writers and artists in 2014.

A few highlights from 2014 include: Alejandro Jodorowsky, Will Oldham, Trisha Low, Candice Jacobs, Natalie Czech, Charles SimondsTomaž Šalamun, Till Gathmann, and David Horvitz.

We're asking for your support in order to pay our online contributors in 2015.

+ YOU'LL RECEIVE SOME GREAT PERKS:

This edition's original work of art is now in the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art. This work ships unframed. (Hi-res version.)

CLAIMED! Poetry and art from Coffee House Press. Featuring rare and signed editions of Countries (1980) by Anne Waldman, with linoleum blocks by Reed Rye; Transmigration Solo (1979) by Joseph Ceravolo; Carnal/Los Gabrieles (1992) by Jessica Hagedorn, in a hand-sewn edition with stitched covers. (See hi-res of "I Am Type." It's beautiful.)
