About The Production
We have prepped this film for several months already and have shot a couple of scenes so far. Shooting is slated to resume in June and run through mid-July, in the Central Florida areas of Orlando, Lakeland, Tampa and St. Pete .
Why We Need Your Help
Our vision is to tell a story about real serial killers that go about his business disguising in normal everyday activities or jobs but goes unnoticed and hardly ever gets caught. This type of movie we'd have an extremely tough time raising money for the traditional way. And so we'd rather not compromise our vision.
If you donate to this campaign, you will be insuring that the movie gets made. We have no back-up budget. The money you'd be donating isn't to build upon some hidden nest egg of funds. It will all appear on screen and on DVD!
Let's Talk Rewards
We're offering as many tangible items as we can like: T-shirts, masks, postcards, DVDs, CDs and posters. In the higher reward brackets, you have the opportunity to be a Producer on the film. You decide if you want to be Associate or Executive, but Executive gets you in the opening credits, puts your name on the poster and DVD and gets you invited to all of our festival appearances. And if that wasn’t enough, we’re offering set visits, speaking roles in the film and even a chance to have a night out in the town with the filmmakers and cast.

Risks and challenges
There can sometimes setbacks when it comes any type of film making. For Our Film "Steel Chamber", 50% Of The production phase of the project has been completed. The biggest risk we face is recording the other half of the film (keep in mind most feature films are approximately 90 minutes). In order to be able to make this happen, we need to have the funds to hire an editor, post-production sound team, color correction professional and composer. The biggest risks associated with these positions are budget and time, but thanks to our experience we have assembled a crew that is willing and able to work on the film for our fundraising goal in a timely manner. We have been realistic about budgeting and how long the phases of filmmaking take. And then we've given ourselves leeway for unforeseen crises.
A Big Part of filmmaking is Working Together: we are excited To be on Kickstarter because of all the wonderful people who have already backed so many great independent films. We are aware that setbacks occur (and have experienced our share in post production) but feel confident that, when fully funded, STEEL CHAMBER will be an awesome film that our backers can be proud of.
Currently, we are facing the risk of missing crucial scenes for the film due to the lack of funds to pay the actors and to secure locations for scenes, etc. In the upcoming next 2 months we are hoping to reach our goal and have the funds in place to complete the production of the film.
There will always be challenges even after securing the funding for the film but having the budget in place will allow us to focus on our efforts in completing the film; deliver the awesome prizes we promised and get the film in film festivals, then to the big screen. Even if we get funded more than our goal, rest assure all funds will go towards making sure Steel Chamber becomes a box office hit in theaters near you.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
