Heya folks, friends and fans!
2012 has already been quite a year here in Bobby Joe Ebola Land. Big shows, great news and new & fun experiences have been in abundance.
Over the next few months, over a year of hard work will come to fruition in the forms of three new releases from us.... a five song EP/Read Along Storybook (Meal Deal With The Devil), a DVD music video version of our last LP (F: The Videos) that includes special features such as videos for a few new songs, original sketches & live performance cuts... AND a new as-yet-untitled full length CD/LP of all new material.
We have played over 200 shows since our reformation in 2010 and spent over 5 months of those two years on the road travelling around the US and most recently, to England.
We love what we do. We love performing our songs, sharing our strange yet direct message with people and working very hard at what we are driven to do.
Speaking of driving, the Ebola vehicle has cracked. Tonight, we went to head out to our show in Santa Rosa and the brakes finally gave way on Ol' Bessie. We have been driving to shows lately in this totally unsafe beast and can't do it anymore. We have also been asked a lot on recent tours, "When are you two going to tour as a full band? We've heard of you doing some local and semi-local shows as such, when so we get to see it?"
Our band is great. Joshua Wharton & Sean McTiernan have been our friends since childhood; they played on our last album, "F" and have done the same on the drums and bass for our new one, respectively.
We currently have two amazing, friendly and talented friends swapping out for occasional shows on second guitar duties; Mike Wilson (Hard Feelings, Indulge, Shotwell) and Craigums (Your Mother, All You Can Eat, Love Songs).
Wanna see us on tour? Donate anything you can. Repost the manure out of this campaign's link.
We want to see you. We want to bring you our new albums that we are so proud of, hang out, laugh together and rock your town.
Pugs & fishes forever,
Dan & Corbett
