About this project
Ideas. Little moments of inspiration that can change it all. Are they really born? Do they come to you blowing in the wind? Perhaps they were always there, in a corner of your mind just waiting for you to look closer…
Inspire Me is a point-and-click adventure about a naughty kid that may have changed the world's history forever with his monkey business.
You must travel back in time and solve a series of puzzles while bringing inspiration to the greatest minds to turn the things back into their right course.
We will never know for sure why or how these thoughts actually became the real deal, but with your help -and a little pinch of humour!-, the world will still have its treasures and you will be there to witness the birth of some of the most amazing ideas!
We're big fans of adventure games such as "Monkey Island" and "Day of the Tentacle". Somehow we wanted to pay tribute to those games that amused us so much.
Year 2043. Little Kelvin has been playing in his father's lab, even when he was told not to fool around the time machine. Now time is broken and world history is about to change forever… unless Kelvin goes back in time and helps re doing whatever he has undone, before Dr. Rubin arrives and finds the chaos!
Inspire Me full release will be available for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS. Win, Mac and Linux version will be released first, with Android and iOS following. The full desktop versions will be distributed on Steam as well as DRM-free download.
The game will start with three chapters, including Newton, Beethoven and Da Vinci.
We will add more chapters with historic characters whose contributions to science and art changed the world, depending on the funding.
Can you imagine inspiring Einstein to come up with the Theory of relativity?
Or Shakespeare, writing Romeo And Juliet?
Have you ever thought how did Tesla come up with the Alternating Current?
This is your chance to be there and inspire them all!
Do you like it so far?
Help us reaching our goals so we can keep creating more and more chapters with awesome historic figures that changed the world!

Blyts is an indie company. We have our own games, and they are doing well. We can't complain on that. But this time we are looking towards an epic game, an extraordinary adventure which we have been thinking for a while now, and we know it will take tons of work and resources. A lot more than we can do on our own. That is why we need your help to accomplish our goals and deliver an awesome game which will give you hours of fun in return.
For five months now, we have been developing the game. The base engine is almost done and we have finished the first chapter with Newton on it. But we still have a long way ahead with the other chapters and details polishing.
Reaching money over our goal will allow us to add more chapters with funny stories. There is a lot to be said for our world's history!
Last, but not less, if all the stretch goals happen to be funded and we still get more badges, all the details will be refined and polished adding more quality to Inspire Me.
If you liked the game so far, support us and help us delivering an amazing story!
Risks and challenges
We have been working on the game for five months now, and we love it!
It's really rewarding to see everything fitting altogether and starting to look like a really funny and enjoyable game.
Our idea is ambitious, we know it. That's what makes it so beautiful!
Our biggest risk and fear is not to be able to keep doing more chapters. We would really love to complete them all.
At this point, we have done everything ourselves (coding, design, puzzles, effects and more), and now is time to ask for your help to bring a stunning product to life.
We are an indie game studio trying to create our most amazing game so far. Every chapter is unique and require it's own styles, puzzles, concepts, music, ideas and many other features.
Publishing the game for all platforms (PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android) also creates a big challenge; every system behaves differently, specially the mobile world with so many devices. Lot of testing will be required, as well as the porting to small screen sizes.
We are counting on you!
The main objective of the game is to entertain and amuse users. Furthermore, as a secondary objective, the idea is to narrate some important events of history, but we don't bug the player with historic annotations or things like that. The story line just follows a great invention or discovery. Of course, the game is fiction, but we try to respect the myths that existed on these creations, if any, as much as we can.
Since the gameplay doesn't have any dialogues, the first answer would be no. The interaction will be based on animated pictograms that will be easy to understand independently of which language you speak. However, we are considering translating all the menus and descriptions into different languages.
