About this project
We're Making A Book, Written By Everyone
Our goal is to publish a book with your stories, your life experiences, your insights... to inspire others. What would you say to a million people?
We all have a story to tell. Your story matters to us and we would love to publish it in this book. We aim to create an interesting read that will hopefully inspire at least one person.
You will have the opportunity of sharing a brief anecdote, a lesson you learned, something everyone should experience...
Anything and everything could inspire others. Please don't hesitate to contribute.
You will be able to write anything and sign your contribution with your name/nickname and your location.
Wouldn't it be great if we managed to create something that helped others? Please read on to see how to contribute!
How To Make The Best Use Of This Book
If any given day you are feeling blue, don't worry. We brought together the best advice from around the world to come to your rescue! Open the book on a random page and let others help you through their stories.
We believe that there is a lot to learn from others' experiences. This book could help you when you need it the most. You are not alone and everyone who contributed to writing this book is there with you.
Thanks For Bringing Bluemanity To Life!
We have listed our pledge levels, please feel free to choose the one that suits you best.
You will only pay after the campaign has ended, and only if it's fully funded. Because exchange rates fluctuate, amounts shown in $ and € are indicative.
We Keep Things Simple
We include free worldwide shipping for all books, because who likes paying for shipping?
There might be some additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these and cannot predict what they might be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country.
A Book With An Eye-Catching Design
Be Kind. Be Honest. Be You!
You can write anything in line with the objective of the book, however please note that this is a child-friendly project.
Please be respectful of others’ rights. No racism or discrimination. Don't encourage violence. Don't spam, self-promote or advertise.
Have a read through some examples:
Try asking yourself this simple question: "What would my loved ones think if they read what I wrote?".
It's also worth saying that the book won't necessarily be read by a million people, although that would be great, we are not that ambitious! On the contrary, the idea is for you to put yourself in that scenario, to choose your words carefully because with such a great power comes a greater responsibility.
Making The Book A Reality
At the end of the project we will send everyone an email with instructions to contribute to the book. Start thinking about what you would say. Don't wait until the project ends.
We will review every contribution to ensure it meets with our guidelines. If it doesn't, we'll let you know so you can try again until you get it right.
We may do some editing, fix any unintended typos or grammatical errors and add punctuation signs where appropriate.
Everyone Has A Story To Tell
We would love to publish as many stories as possible. Share this project with your friends and together let’s inspire as many people as possible.

Risks and challenges
We believe this project to be low-risk in general.
We have taken a conservative approach to work out the delivery schedule of the book. The delivery timeline could change slightly due to delays in the editing or production process.
Risks are an inherent part of life. We have tried to avoid or mitigate any risks we could think of, but it doesn’t matter how many umbrellas we carry if it starts raining rocks. That said, we also bought a helmet. Just in case.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
