What if I told you that marine parks confine whales and dolphins to less than 1% of their natural habitat?

How can something this cruel and archaic be happening behind our backs? How can we be funding something like this without even knowing about it?

This topic is not new. For many years, experts have been raising awareness of the inhumane practices of marine parks. There have been documentaries exposing the horrors behind the scenes and people from around the world have been outraged, most recently with what was exposed in the film "Blackfish".
Our goal is to create and produce a 30 minute documentary called Voiceless, to be released as a world-wide YouTube campaign. What will make this film different from any other is that it will be directed towards kids and young adults -- the main audience fueling this industry.
The idea is simple -- if kids start telling their parents that they don’t want to go to marine parks, this cruelty will come to an end. It’s as simple as supply and demand.
Our generation is the key.

We understand the power of social media and the power of a viral YouTube campaign. We understand the power of networking. That's why for several years, we have been connecting with supporters from around the world. We have been working with the top scientists and experts in this field, organizations that have studied this industry for decades, authors, filmmakers, researchers, former marine park trainers, Hollywood actors, and news organizations.
So. This is where you come in. We have done the interviews, we have gathered the footage, we have developed the networks, we have schools from around the world waiting for the release of our documentary…
and now we just need to raise the funds to put it all together.
We are working with a film company who has committed to work with us. What we need now - is to fund the production.

We can put an end to this cruel and archaic industry -- with your help. Your donations have the power to finally bring this cruelty to an end. We need you to help us produce this documentary and finally get the word out to our generation, to finally give a voice to the voiceless.
From all of us at Blue Freedom, thank you.

Risks and challenges
We have spent over two years laying the groundwork for this project. We have put together a large network of team members from varied fields. We have 2 backup production companies to go to in the event of any problems with our primary production company. Of course in the event that the marine park industry collectively comes to their senses and closes all operations during the making of this film. And the capture, slaughter, and exploitation of cetaceans comes to an end. It could happen. Then there would be no need for this film. But to be honest? We're totally okay with that eventuality.
