Some good news and the launch date!
Hello dear friends,
This is Martin from Blue Brain Games. I know I’m not much of an actor, but I’ve decided to talk to you directly in this video message.
To sum it all up, I have two pieces of news for you – one very good one, and one that’s not so good. The good news is: the game is 100% READY! We have prepared six AMAZING levels, everything is tested & ready for the release. Actually, my son loves it so much that I haven’t seen my iPad for three days now.
But now for the not-so-good news. I have to tell you all that you will have to wait a few more days to enjoy it. The House of Da Vinci for iOS will be released worldwide on…(wait for it) June 22! Not sooner, not later: exactly on this date, you will finally be playing The House of Da Vinci. So that doesn’t sound too bad, does it?
I can’t express how sorry I am for this. I hate delays just as much as you do, but if you’re still watching this message, let me explain the two main reasons for the delay:
1) As you may remember, we promised the sixth level as a stretch goal on Kickstarter & it was originally supposed to come as an update after the initial release. Well, this has changed, because the last level naturally became an integral part of the story. We couldn’t release the game without it, so we’ve decided to skip some sleep and finish it at all costs. We made it!
2) Based on your extensive feedback, we’ve decided to release the game with six more language localizations. Good news for anyone speaking English, French, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Spanish, Slovak and Czech. More to come in a couple of months after release.
I certainly hope you can understand this & I’d like to thank you all for your patience and support. Now I have to go – as you can see, I have some sleep to catch up on :-)
Don’t forget to save the date >> June 22. <<
