The Story So Far -
Home is about a young woman named Elysia, who was born with natural blue hair. She was persecuted for this, and thus lived a very lonely life. Suddenly though, she began to see a type of living computer code. One that she could interact with, and fix to heal broken items in her town.
One day though, she comes across a of wall of code, and upon fixing it, was transported to another dimension. The place she landed in was called Altaria, and it was full of knights, monsters, and a culture clash of a city.
After being saved by the Knights, Elysia was welcomed into Altaria, and actually made into a Knight herself. She met the leaders of the Knights, Sonia and Garnon, both of whom had plenty to tell her. Eventually, Garnon led her to an "artifact" made by The Code.
The moment she walked into the room with the "artifact" she was stunned, for the whole room was outlined with Code...
What Happens When Two People View Your Worth In Different Ways?
I would like to think that people want to help others. But eventually, you'll find yourself in a scenario where one person wants you to do one thing, while another has a different plan for you. This is what happens with Elysia in reference to Garnon and Sonia.
For Home #3, I really delve into the character of the two heads of the Knights of Altaria, showing a history that is both deep, and somewhat tragic. Their backstory, as witnessed in part in the preview above, has a deep affect on Elysia, and it'll lead to some choices that affect the story of Home in a big way.
Faces New And Familiar
With Home #3 comes the arrival of the final Knights of Altaria, bringing our grand total (including Elysia) to 12. It was a blast getting these characters made, and I'm happy with how unique they all turned out. You'll see (in order from right to left), Kenny, Sophii, Cissa, and Randy all in this issue. All of them having a major scene or two in Home #3.
It is tough at times balancing all the Knights, but as a writer, it's a challenge I take wholeheartedly, and endeavor to do right by. Each Knight has their own views on things, and personality, and look, and I want to make them all special both in how they're portrayed, and how they're shown off in the comic.
In fact, starting in this issue, there will be a special "Knights Of Altaria Breakdown" page, where you'll learn more about the ones who keep Altaria safe.
Home - A Fantasy Comic Miniseries
When I first started Home, I wasn't sure how long I was going to make it. After finishing the script for #3, I came to the conclusion that Elysia's story will be five issues long. Making Home #3 the literal midpoint point through the series.
Getting to this point has been amazing to me, as I've only gotten here because of the support received in our past two Kickstarters. I hope we continue the trend here, as I've heard much positive feedback from those who got Home #2, and I would for that to keep going with Home #3.
Catching Up On Past Issues
Easily, one of the biggest issues with doing Kickstarters by issue is that people sometimes only see the Kickstarters that come after the first issue. I had this with Home #2, and through interaction with my backers, I thought of ways to rectify this.
So for this Kickstarter, we'll not only have a reward tier for digital copies of Home #1-3 for you to catch up on. We'll also have a reward for physical copies of Home #1-3. So that way no matter what kind of comic reader you are, if you think you'll like Home, and you weren't here before, we got your back.

I've been honored throughout Home to have the support of the cosplay community. As many have stepped up to dress up as Elysia and other characters from Home. So much so that I put them into Home as Knights of Altaria. This time, we have familiar faces, and new additions, and I'm happy for them all to be here.
AZ Powergirl Cara Nicole and Alfred Trujillo: My biggest supporters, and my great friends, Ms. Cara Nicole and Mr. Alfred Trujillo are once again back to help out Home. We'll once again be giving away prints from Ms. Powergirls photoshoot as Elysia, and Alfred will once again be making an epic variant cover for Home. I'm so lucky to have them as friends, and if you enjoy either of them, you'll want to pledge to their reward tier.
Super Sirens: The Super Sirens Rae and Hillz are two incredible talented and kind cosplayers. They excel at not only elegant costumes, but also body painting. I've known them for a while, and am happy to have them helping with Home. They'll even be doing special cosplays of our Home characters!
Triple Diamond Cosplay: Ms. Paige Blunk may just be the biggest Harley Quinn fan on the planet, and that's fine by me! Her love of the character has led to numerous cosplays modeling different takes on the character. She's also an incredibly kind soul, and a lover of comics, like Home! She was with us for the last Kickstarter, and she happily offered her support once again!
Will You Help Us Continue Our Story?
Home was only meant to be an idea that I had for a contest. But then it took a life of its own. Now I'm selling copies at stores and at Cons and people want more, and they want to see how Elysia's story will end. With Home #3 we arrive at the middle point of our story, and I think people will be surprised with what happens. But, we can only get there with your help.
So if you can pledge, great! We'll take anything you can pledge and thank you with a smile. If you think you know someone who might like Home? Great! Spread the word to them, and then see if they know someone who wants to help out.
There's nothing that can't be done if we come together to make something happen. I'm hoping that'll once again happen with Home #3. I hope to see you soon once more in the realm of Altaria.

Risks and challenges
As a comic book, the biggest challenge is simply getting it made. I will not deny, that our last two Kickstarters had a small delay with getting the artwork done. But we got it done, and we sent it to our backers.
If there is a need for a delay, I will update all backers to it so that they know what is going on. Aside from that, I trust my team, and we will make this comic if funded.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
