Pixelstick around the world
It's been a busy week since we last updated. A large number of pixelsticks have landed already and more to come. A few general points of interest:
Social Media is practically humming with pixelstick-created content. Each day, new pixelsticks land in the hands of backers, and each night Flickr, Instagram, Tumblr. Facebook & Twitter fill up with great new stuff. Below is only a small selection of amazing shots we've seen pop up in our feeds (images used by permission).
And of course once we saw everyone else having fun we couldn't resist running out and shooting some new stuff of our own:
Everything shot by us above is available in our Image Packs, archives of pixelstick-ready bmp files available for download at thepixelstick.com/content.php
We are still working through replacing battery cables for rewards that shipped prior to 8/15. We are sending out batches of replacement cables every day. Keep an eye on your email for a shipping notification. It is not necessary to contact us about replacing an old cable - we have good records of who has one and everyone who does will receive a replacement.
If this all sounds completely foreign and you have no idea what we're talking about, it's a very good idea to read the previous update.
Lots of folks are trying to puzzle out where they fall in the shipping queue based on last name, backer number or country. The reality is that we are batching orders in the most efficient way possible so that we can minimize overall shipping time for everyone. That means grouping similar orders together (by order makeup, domestic vs international, etc.) If you haven't received a shipping notification yet (but you filled out your backer survey) don't worry - it's coming! We expect we'll be able to make even larger daily shipments starting next week, and have Kickstarter rewards 95% fulfilled by the end of next week or very early the following, with the extra 5% being people who haven't filled out their backer survey yet or did so only very recently. Website Pre-orders can expect to be fulfilled within a couple days following that.
If you have any questions about or are having trouble with your pixelstick, please contact email@example.com - though please keep in mind that this address is for direct support about shipments that are moving or have been received already. And for those of you still waiting, keep an eye out - it's coming as soon as possible!
