Campaign rewards are filled.
Thanks everyone for all the support allowing this campaign to fund so quickly. To help ensure the success of this first production run of machines there will be no more reward tiers added. Why A Delta? There is just something about the motion of a delta robot's arms purposefully building an object layer by layer that is mesmerizing. Of course there are technical reasons such as the potential for faster speeds with less print artifacts, easier scalability, backlash preload via its geometry and gravity, faster vertical travels, the hotend moves rather than the print, triplicated identical mechanisms for maintenance and manufacturing simplicity, and high visibility during the entire print.
Nice Prints. A properly setup delta 3D printer is capable of very nice prints with excellent layer alignment quality. Click on the image below to browse a variety of high-resolution photos of prints from during the development of this machine.
Rigid Frame. Larger than typical 20x60mm aluminum extrusion and 1/4" aluminum plates arranged in a delta geometry creates a very rigid frame. The rigid frame helps increase print quality and makes calibration a less frequent task.
Large Build Volume. A build volume of 10 inches in diameter by 12 inches gives you room to grow as your 3D printing skills increase.
Magnetic joints. This popular upgrade is standard for this kit and provides for near zero backlash at its joints.
Leveling Probe. The micro-switch leveling probe flips down directly below the nozzle for increased accuracy and calibration simplicity.
Genuine E3D Lite6 Hotend. The hotend is one of the most important components in a 3D printer and the Lite6 is a reliable workhorse that is included standard.
Flying filament feeder. A best of both worlds feature that keeps the moving mass low but also keeps the filament feeder near the hotend for excellent retraction performance.
Built-in Part Airflow. Many popular print materials require a lot of airflow directed at the part to help deter warping and delamination. Rather than common axial fans the kit includes a powerful blower fan.
Enclosure panels. The included enclosure panels help to maintain a more stabilized printing environment and keeps drafts and curious hands and paws outside of the machine while still providing high visibility.
KIT REWARD. The machine is delivered as a kit that requires assembly and includes all the parts needed to complete minus a print controller and its power supply. Print controllers are widely available at a range of pricing. A complete 8-bit print controller can be purchased for under $30 and is capable of producing very nice prints. Look for an update in the near future surveying the currently available popular options to help you choose.
VOLCANO ADDON WITH 4 NOZZLES. Expand the available layer heights options of your machine all the way up to 1mm. Thicker layers can increase print strength substantially and reduce overall print times. The increased plastic flow rate often requires increased airflow so this addon also includes a second blower fan to double airflow around the part.
Shipping. Domestic USA shipping with signature confirmation is included. International shipping is via USPS and will be at cost. Your shipping destination taxes and fees are up to you. If your shipping destination requires specific regulatory documentation please contact us.
If your country is not listed in your reward tier choice then choose the USA shipping option to claim the reward and contact us with the country you would like to be added to the list. For this shipping cost will be using the USPS SHIPPING CALCULATOR with a shipping weight of 26 pounds and dimensions of 34x6x16 inches.
Transparency. It is important to keep backers informed about issues concerning potential delays in the delivery of their reward. If you have any questions or concerns please post them to the comments so everyone can benefit. Also as the campaign proceeds expect regular update posts of the progress.
Safety. Very few, if any, 3D printers in the consumer market are designed for unattended operation and this design is not an exception. It is best practice and highly recommended to not leave a Polygon 3D printer unattended while it is powered.

Risks and challenges
As with all Kickstarter campaigns and especially campaigns with physical deliverables there is the very real possibility of delays. This campaign is not something that is taken on lightly and I've put a huge amount of effort ahead of the campaign to help minimize potential issues.
