Hi folks, another update a little earlier in the month, we wanted to give one last plug to another campaign before it ended, but of course we have more updates of our own to share. So lets get started!
Folks will recall we mentioned our bicycle puzzle last month, visually here is how things have progressed since then.
The scene is getting close to being finished but we still have a little way to go, next month we intend to post up a video giving folks a full tour of the lower deck of the HMSS Imperialise.
Of course we've been renovating other rooms onboard the Imperialise, below you can see an updated version of our Engineering room complete with electrified security fence.
As I say in our next update we're hoping to give you a tour of the completed lower deck.
The bulk of our work last month was largely ensuring that we had a substantial build of the game ready to take to Game Connection/ Paris Games Week. Peter, Paul and myself ventured over to the French capital last week to demo the game, you may recall that we had been nominated for an award during the show. Unfortunately Captain English joined a long list of celebrated British nearly men, nearly men such as (come on) Tim Henman, golfer Colin Montgomerie and the Italia 90/ Euro 96 England football teams (whichever you feel suffered the most nobel defeat).
While we didn't pick up an award (or mention a terrible lot about our journey on the social medias, apologies, it was a frantic three days) we were able to demo our game to a variety of Parisian adventure fans both young and old.
The demo went down very well and mostly folk thought the fact that the French were, in many ways, our game's antagonists, very amusing!.. Mostly.
In other news, in preparation for a bit of time outside of the HMSS Imperialise Peter has been working on some stylish headwear for Captain English, see below.
Expect to see both English and Aled out and about exploring new exotic locations soon!
There is but a few short hours remaining to assist Bertram and his cyclops manservant Gavin hunt down the notorious Geoff the Murderer. This charming, surreal, quintessentially British adventure is certainly something that we feel human society would be all the better for having so please support Seb and his team if you can. It's also quite funny.
Again thank you everyone for your ongoing support, we can just about make out a chink of light at the end of the tunnel! I'm looking forward to sharing more good news with you in our next update. Until then!
