About this project
Billy Bully's Wake Up Dream was born out of a dream that woke me up. It comes to wake us all up. The children are our future and we are being called to support them to bring in a new dream for humanity. Billy Bully's story guides us to cultivate compassion and empathy for ourselves and those so entrenched in violence, that they know no other way.
The book offers a vision that rises above the violence that surrounds us all and guides us to imagine another reality, where caring for each other and peace, is our top priority. It is time to nurture the best in all of us, especially those raised in violence.
Your donations will fund the publishing of this book and the creation of a website where you will see how we connect children worldwide.
We invite you to support our project and support Billy to his get his message out to all....... please spread the word with all of your friends, inviting them too to be part of this heart based project.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING WITH YOUR GENEROUS DONATIONS
We will be publishing the book and creating a great interactive website where we intend to connect children worldwide. The name of the website will be SacredMotherHug.
WHAT WILL WE DO IF WE GET MUCH MORE THAN WE ASKED FOR
We will move to phase two of our project and this is creating the peace pillows. The peace pillows were the original seed planted in my mind many years ago after learning about "The Secret". I thought if we create reality with our thoughts, and children could go to sleep imagining peace, the next generation will be able to create it.
I was so busy working with the young women from Israel and Palestine that I had no time to pursue my thought. Val and I got together after this last summer, and in a magical way found ourselves on a road trip to Crestone, Colorado...that road trip turned into 6 months of living in the most peaceful place we have ever experienced; where we created this project.
On the ninth of September, I was literally woken up at 2 am, in the morning, and within three hours the book was out of my hand and onto paper. We then realized that the book is the beginning of our project and the pillows come after. I knew that only Val could illustrate the book, not only because she is a great artist but because she has worked with me in Creativity for Peace and knows from the inside-out what the girls go through. I never imagined how much goes into the illustration of a book! Three hundred hours later, the illustrations were done.
Enough said! So we want to create these pillows to go with the book and connect the kids from affluent societies to the children who are living less fortunate lives.
The book and the website are the beginning of a multi-layered project. We are approaching this in steps, but if this first step exceeds our first layer, we will progress into the next.
The way we intend to do this is as follows: for every book and pillowcase bought in an affluent society, a pillowcase will be donated to a less fortunate child. We intend to start in Africa as it is quickly becoming a continent of orphans. I was born in South Africa and have a deep connection there. It is our ultimate dream to be able to support micro-businesses for the manufacturing of the pillows as fair trade industry, and in that way support economic strength in areas of need. We would also like to start translations to different languages. This project is the beginning step toward the ultimate goal. So stay tuned...and watch us grow.
Please support our project by donating and getting the word to as many caring people as you know. The rewards run far deeper than those we will joyfully send to you!
