With a 2.75” blade and a 3.5” handle, the WESN Allman is a compact, lightweight knife that fits right in your hand. Functional and sleek, the Allman is perfectly weighted and designed to be at your side wherever you go.
We didn’t add any bells or whistles. Instead, we stripped the knife back to what it was at its roots: a piece of pure pragmatic problem-solving. We did the work so that you wouldn’t have to, which means you get a knife born out of nothing but genuine design, hardworking craftsmanship, and some of the world’s best materials.
In 2017 we introduced the WESN Micro Blade to the world — and we were blown away by the massive response. We launched on Kickstarter and received 1800% backing.
Very quickly, we realized that there was interest in what we were trying to do. That first campaign was a crash course in creating a product, and we certainly earned some of our stripes the hard way. With those lessons under our belt, we’re coming back to Kickstarter to offer our 10,000+ customers a new, exciting product that we couldn’t be more proud of:
We received many requests for a full-size knife. With such an obvious interest in a full-size WESN, we went to the drawing board to see what we could come up with.
Design after design, prototype after prototype, we honed in on what ended up becoming the WESN Allman. We think it’s got the perfect design made from the best materials — and we’re pretty confident you’ll feel the same way.
We started with the idea of what we needed out of a full-size knife. What would get the job done? What were people needing out of their knives?
The best way to create something beautiful is to start with functionality, and so while designing the Allman, we worked tirelessly to meld unique, striking design with hard-working functionality.
The Allman is manual-open with a flipper tab for ease. Its 3.5” handle and 2.75” blade combine to create a compact knife that fits comfortably in your hand, and our perfectly-weighted, American-made S35vn steel blade opens beautifully with a ball-bearing pivot.
To give customers the fullest range of uses for this knife, the frame is available in both a titanium and G10 option. Both of these materials have passed the test of time, with each of them offering unique strengths: the sleek durability of titanium, and the functional comfort of G10.
Whichever option you choose, the Allman’s milled pocket clip ensures that your knife will be by your side wherever you go while staying sleek and unobtrusive.
Whether you choose the G10 or Titanium options, the Allman is ready for whatever you throw at it. We refused to sacrifice functionality for good looks. What we did instead was to get rid of anything unnecessary or superfluous, and to let the hard-working nature of the knife speak for itself.
With both the frame lock (Titanium model) and the liner lock (G10 model), you can use the Allman in any situation with peace of mind, knowing your blade is firmly locked into place. Whether you want to use this knife as your casual all-purpose EDC, or if you want to put it hard to work as your hunting knife, the Allman’s G10 or Titanium options guarantee you’ll find the perfect fit.
And with the S35vn steel blade (respected in both the industry and the field), you’ll know your blade is up to the task ahead of you.
Partnering up again with one of our favorite brands, Stock & Barrel, we are excited to introduce the WESN Allman Leather sleeve. Keeping it simple, yet practical, we designed the sleeve to be multi functional. Giving you a variety of carry options, in your pocket, on your belt or at your side.
Made our of natural vegetable tanned leather, the sleeve will age in time. Showing character unique to how you use it. Both sleek and useful, the sleeve give is the perfect companion for the WESN Allman.
Titanium is world-renowned for its toughness. Not only is it a hardy, long-lasting material, it’s also incredibly lightweight. This means that, when it comes to the Allman, you can get the best of both worlds: a knife frame unrivaled in toughness and durability while simultaneously lightweight and easy to carry. Your Allman can hang with you wherever you go without becoming a burden in the slightest. Plus, with that one-of-a-kind color that only titanium provides, it’ll look slick the whole time.
G10 is one of the most popular materials used in knife making, and for good reason. It’s the toughest glass fiber option available. On top of being durable, it’s also known for being incredibly strong and resistant to chemicals, as well as maintaining its integrity under intense climate conditions. You can take it anywhere and know it will stand up to whatever you throw at it — so naturally, this all adds up to G10 being a perfect choice for the Allman.
One of the things we loved about the original WESN Micro Blade was the sheer scale of its versatility. We wanted to keep that original scope with the Allman, but with the added options a full-size knife can achieve. Its professional-grade construction means it can be used for hunting, fishing, as a work tool, as well as general needs — cutting, nipping, carving, bottle-opening, and it makes you look good all at the same time. The full scale of what it can be used for is really all up to you and your imagination.

Back when we started developing the WESN Micro Blade, the core element of its birth was our founder, Billy, and his desire to create “the perfect pocket knife.” Rather than constantly try a new knife here and a new knife there while searching for exactly what he needed and wanted, he decided to create one himself.
When it came time to create a full-size knife, we decided to implement similar design aspects of the Micro Blade. We’re insanely proud of the design and functionality of the Micro, and saw it as the perfect starting point to try and improve upon and increase the functionality of WESN.
But simply designing “a bigger knife” wasn’t the end of the road. We had to step up in terms of manufacturing and quality.
By working with some top-notch manufacturers, we were able to vastly improve the QC of the Allman, while also securing tighter manufacturing deadlines. The end result? Better knives that are more dependably made and delivered.
Risks and challenges
I’ve been dreaming of making the Allman for a long time. A full size knife feels like an “arrival” in a way. When we launched the Micro Blade Kickstarter late 2017, I had spent over a year working on designs, testing prototypes, and communicating with machinists and manufacturers to make sure I was on the right track. The overwhelming response to the Micro Blade showed me I WAS on the right track — not to mention being hugely affirming and humbling.
As I’ve been working on the Allman, I’ve carried that sense of support as encouragement, and also as something to live up to. I want this knife to meet every expectation, and to deserve the role of being the follow-up to the Micro Blade.
I’ve been working diligently to make sure we have top-notch manufacturing. Making sure we have reliable manufacturing and dependable delivery dates is extremely important. We’ve been honing in designs and getting all of our materials selected and ready to go, which means if the Allman is funded, we’ll get manufacturing rolling.
I commit to making sure all steps are completed and delivery is met as promised. The funds raised from this Kickstarter will be used for production and manufacturing. As is the case with all Kickstarter campaigns, our goal is to deliver all rewards on schedule, but if demand is higher than expected or unforeseen challenges arise, we could see a delay in delivery.
We’ve been working long and hard to make sure this knife exceeds all expectations, and we can’t wait to get it in your hands. Thank you for helping to make this dream a reality.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
