Hey guys/gals...

It's been a few weeks since our last update and we thought it would be good to let you know about all the goings-on here in Revival-land.

After much wrangling of schedules, we'll be entering the studio on June 28 and will be recording through July 20. Mark this on your calendars as we'll humbly ask that you would consider intentionally praying for us during those weeks. We have some songs and surprises that will be fun, but if our music isn't empowered by the Holy Spirit, then our efforts will be in vain. We don't record music so that we become famous, but rather that He becomes famous.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you missed our recent tweets, we'd like to introduce you to our new producer Paul Moak. There are many things to love about Paul (or simply Moak to his friends). Paul got his start touring with bands like Plumb, dctalk, Over the Rhine, and Michael W. Smith. In the past several years, though, he's become one of Nashville's most sought-after producers and has produced the most recent Third Day, Leeland, and Matt Maher records. His studio, The Smoakstack, is hands down the coolest place to record in town. Click HERE to see photos of the studio. He's a relatively young guy compared to the rest of us, but we think this will keep us on our toes and bring out a (friendly) competitive drive to make the best music we can. Paul is excited about being the person to bring BTR back into the market and was a fan of the band back when he was touring with Plumb. He knows what we're capable of and won't settle for anything less than our best. Check out to read more about the man.

David Bean is a long time fan of the band since he and Randy went to church together in the 90s. Well, they're still good friends (they even still go to church together) and David has gone on to become quite a sought after photographer and has shot Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, The Fray, Jack White, Jars of Clay, and Relient K. If you want a little preview of what David can do behind the lens, check out his site HERE

In case you missed it, Christian Musician magazine did an interview with us and put us on the cover. If you can't buy CM locally, you can see a digital version of the magazine HERE. Ask your local Barnes & Noble or Christian bookstore to start selling Christian Musician if they don't. It's always a great read.

That's it for now. We're compiling a list of songs and will have a list of song titles for you in the coming weeks. Until then, thanks (again) for your belief in the band. We're striving to make you proud of donating your hard-earned cash. We pray that our small efforts will be made larger. We never believed that Big Tent's last days had passed and in the words of a friend, the One who came out of the tomb is not a fan of dead ends.

Humbly yours and His,

Steve, Steve, Spence, Dave, and Randy
