In a world where the sandwich is king, a pitched battle rages across the throngs of the food hall. As chefs fight for the favour of the fickle lunch crowd, jealousy, betrayal and sabotage run rampant. Who shall emerge victorious? Who shall fall into obscurity? Who shall be named the one true Sandwich Master?
What is Sandwich Masters and who are we?
Sandwich Masters is a fast-paced, colourful card game with a slightly twisted sense of humour for two to four players. Players race to build sandwiches and complete orders using the correct ingredient cards. The winner is the first player to earn 50 noshbucks.
But in the battle to earn the most money, standards are easily forgotten. You see, each good ingredient has an evil counterpart. Hungry customers won't notice the difference (is that bacon or facon, sliced beef or a live cow?) but if someone plays a Health Inspector card, you’re in trouble. Throw in Attack Condiments (broken glass, a sneeze), Vegetarian Rats and the occasional Poop Flood and it's a recipe for disaster!
Sandwich Masters was created by Big Punch Studios, which, if you haven't heard of us, consists of Nich Angell, Lucy Brown, Jon Lock and Alice White. We're a UK-based studio of comic creators responsible for 7STRING, Afterlife Inc., The Heavenly Chord, Cat & Meringue and Big Punch Magazine. Sandwich Masters is our first card game.

New reward tier: Sandwich Masters playmats!
Because you demanded it, Big Punch Studios are very happy to announce a brand new reward: a Sandwich Masters themed custom playmat! We're teaming up with the folks at Patriot Games, tried and tested manufacturers of high-quality playmats, to bring you this rather snazzy product.
The Sandwich Masters playmat measures 16.5 x 8.5 inches and is printed on professional-grade rubber, easy to roll up and take with you wherever you go. The playmat also sports some rather nifty artwork from Big Punch Studios' resident art wizard Nich Angell, bringing you all the greasy delights of the sandwich bar. The playmat contains spaces for the orders, ingredients and noshbucks decks, and spaces for the four active order cards.
The playmat is available at the MESSY EATER tier (£40), which also includes a signed copy of the game. If you've already pledged at another reward tier but would like the playmat as well, simply add £20 to your order!
The Final Word
At Big Punch Studios there’s only one thing we love more than sandwiches (well, apart from Lucy who’s not really a fan of bread) and that’s making games. Well, games and comics, which is our usual deal. With Sandwich Masters, we’ve finally united our passions. We hope you enjoy playing it as much as we’ve enjoyed taking it from our early, pencil-drawn prototypes to the beautiful, full-colour decks shown above.
Sandwich Masters is finished and ready to go to print. All we need is your support to help make this a reality.
With love, gratitude and sandwiches,
Nich, Lucy, Jon and Ali

Risks and challenges
Sandwich Masters is complete and ready to go to print. We’ve already produced several demonstration copies and play-tested the game extensively (with thanks to our friends, family and local gaming community for their help in ironing out the bugs). All we need now are the funds to produce a full print run, which is why we’ve turned to Kickstarter.
We’ve got a great printer lined up to work on Sandwich Masters and we’re incredibly happy with the quality of their work so far.
As a group, Big Punch Studios has produced several successful Kickstarter campaigns, so we’ve some experience with managing orders, costs and delivering rewards. We’ve crunched the numbers thoroughly and we’re fully aware of what we need to accomplish our goals.
While there is always the chance of delays in printing and postage, we’ll keep you informed of progress at each stage. As all the art elements are ready to go, backers should not expect any undue delays to the estimated delivery times. If something does come up, we’ll be sure to let you know.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
