The greatest contemporary motorcycle designs were led by one man. After 8 years off, JT Nesbitt is poised to change the industry again.

migrating the conversation

hello and a belated happy new year to all our backers!

just a quick update that we are pleased to be fully funded through the prototyping stage through alternate resources. while we probably bit a lot--and took an untraditional approach with this platform--we know we're onto something amazing here. the conversation around craftsmanship and the challenge of applying that ethos, in this first commission, to the creation of the best motorcycles seen in generations, is one that we must see through.

we learned a lot and had a TON of fun getting as far as we have. we'd love to continue the conversation with you on facebook where bienville studios is taking the lead. ADMCi will continue its efforts to engage a broad audience financially and educationally in the field of master craftsmanship, in particular as it crosses to a new generation of digital design thinkers.

thanks again for your support and look forward to continuing our adventure together.

48 hours, an audacious goal; more fun

the scope of ideas behind this project was always an unusual bundle to package on kickstarter, especially with a recent history of transparent product pre-orders clogging the channel. per usual, JT made our digital ideas work better. he brought humor and a light-heartedness to the heavy task of inventing new technologies, of responsibly spending huge amounts of seed money, and making good on personal promises to me and his vendors. andy overslaugh jumped in with wit and wisdom amidst his daily obligations to run his own business. and we have had a blast.

i am more convinced than ever that we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to set the standard for an integrated design ethos: one that doesn't pick digital over hand-made, slow over fast, or physical over virtual. it's all one big mash-up we're just beginning to wake up to. and it's the beginning of an era we can barely wrap our heads around. this kickstarter onramp has been the right place to start if hard for some to grasp.

our coverage in crain's, fast company, hell for leather, auto blog, and so many other kind write-ups have proven our idea has serious legs. the question is, can it get properly funded?

let's get back together in a few hours and see how we're doing.
