One week ago...

Greetings Backers!

A week ago you all helped make Disaster Looms! a reality.  Our entire team is again thankful for your backing.

There are a few reminders:

  • Please finish up surveys that have been sent out.  A couple levels we have not sent surveys to yet ($1,000 sending emails) ($1 - no need).  We are currently at 96% complete - a thank you to everyone who turned the information around to us so quickly.  We are on an aggressive production schedule - and getting the information quickly helps with those efforts.
  • To that point, I wanted to give everyone a heads up that we will be sending out a reminder email 2 weeks prior to shipment of your backer rewards (right now planning mid-September).  At that time, we will be requesting any updated addresses.  We have had about a dozen of you warn us about pending moves ... so I just wanted to make a general announcement that we have a system to capture those address changes in place.
  • The web store is up and running:  Several of you still owe for shipping, or had mentioned a desire to add Play Mats, or other a la carte items to your reward package.  This is the place to go do those things.  If any doubt on how to do this, email us - we are doing our best to respond to questions swiftly.
  • Finally - anyone who needs to get their payment information corrected - you have a little less than one hour to do so.  At that time your pledge will be cancelled.  I believe we have a few backers in this situation at this time.

Later today we will be sending out an art update ... I believe we have another CEO to introduce.

Our goal is to do a weekly update during production - though some of these may be brief.  Our intention is to keep you appraised of our efforts to deliver your game, and the steps as we go through this process.  Our printer was quite excited to find out that instead of printing one game, we are printing 3 essentially.  Wow, I really wish I had gotten in on this project as a backer - what a deal!

@Walter - we have samples on there way to us. No certain announcement at this time... as soon as we have a confirmed sizing we will post an update.

@Walter - can you message us your backing level? Unfortunately Kickstarter does not have the best system for finding information - like a specific backer for example. I did not find a pending survey for you at any of our backer levels. We will get this figured out!

Has the final size of the mat been decided? And how late can I add a mat to my order. I did get one but might want an extra, once I get past the next round of kickstarter projects I need to pay for.

I have received no survey as yet, though my Amazon payment/address info is correct and accurate. I do not wish to be cancelled, so please re-send the survey.

@David You can choose "Make my funding right" QTY 20. This will charge you $20.00. Please add a note on how you wish to allocate this $20.00. (1 Play Mat)

Thanks! It's very considerate of you to keep us in the loop.
I look forward to the production updates, not to mention unboxing my copy of the game!

Actually, I _would_ like to add a playmat to my original pledge. IIRC from the survey, the price was $20 for backers; if I order from Storenvy, the price with shipping is $30. How exactly does one kick in an extra $20 for a playmat or such?
