About this project
My goal is to achieve a very unique, well put together and timeless collaborative product with fellow musician and artist Bettreena Jaeger, and photographer Mandy Mohler. We have extensively discussed our plan for this collaboration. As three independently successful artists, we believe this presentation will be relevant and interesting locally, as well as to a broader audience. I would also like to be a positive, personal advocate for matchless places like the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
There are many people who never have a chance to experience solidarity in nature, and I believe it is a vital part of any one’s life and creative process. That being said, I would not only like to show people what we have created, but also make them feel as if there were right there with us. My plan is to compose original music that will accompany Mandy’s time-lapse and stop action filming. My goal is to compose music that acts as a vehicle to draw the audience into the experience of the composition.
I believe this is a rare opportunity for all of us, and if I was given this time to work in such a remote place with such talented partners, we as team would not only grow artistically, but take this experience with us for the rest of our lives. This project is a great opportunity to showcase the skills of three very innovative local artists, and will far exceed the excitement of any of my previous solo projects thus far. What better stage to perform than the unbeatable Montana wilderness?
