*** EVEN THOUGH WE'RE ALMOST FUNDED, WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP! YOUR PLEDGE WILL HELP US DO TWO THINGS: FINISH OUR FUNDRAISING PACKETS AND PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDRAISING SUPPORT FOR OUR PARTNER!****
This money will be used to finish our website and fundraising packets. Be The Change Youth Initiative receives no compensation from fundraising. Because we feel called to serve, our partners receive every penny. However, it costs money to develop an excellent product. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
If we reach this goal, we'll get to purchase our fundraising t-shirts for all of our partners. $10 of every shirt will go directly to the work they're doing around the world. We're also working to create fundraising bundles for families looking to adopt or kids wanting to go on a mission trip!
Reaching this goal will allow us to invest in our own video and audio equipment, enabling us to produce high-quality videos that would benefit our ministry. We work hard to develop content, and we'd love to record it on something besides our cellphone!

#1: The Dream Behind Be The Change Youth Initiative
What if kids here in the US used their gifts and talents to help other kids around the world? What if we could inspire young leaders to action by matching their passions with guided fundraising to create positive change? Our pilot program is doing just that. From Maine to California, there are kids all over the United States using their gifts and talents to raise money to build a daycare in Jacmel, Haiti through our ministry partner, Hands and Feet Project. These kids are using their voices to advocate for children around the world by running, baking, shooting hoops, making goals, organizing talent shows, reading books, selling lemonade, and more.
#2: Why Make This Album?
Be The Change Youth Initiative is committed to helping kids recognize and utilize their gifts and talents for the purpose of helping others for the glory of God. My love for songwriting is an example of this. To share the missions of our partners (Hands and Feet Project, Africa New Life, Make-A-Wish Maine, The Transformation Project, Camp Bahamas, and Instead Ministries), I have written a compilation of songs. My ultimate goal is to travel around the United States to share my music and empower children to make an impact in their communities and around the world by getting involved with Be The Change Youth Initiative.
#3: How Did a 15-year-old Kid from Maine Get Invited to Record in Tennessee?
The simple answer: God. In January, I had the opportunity to meet two of my favorite singer/songwriters, Leslie Jordan and David Leonard of All Sons and Daughters. My mom and I toured their studio and had lunch with them as part of a fundraiser for Hands and Feet Project. During lunch, we talked music and ministry, and I told them about a song I had written for one of our partners. As we walked back to the studio, the plan was for us to part ways, but they invited us back in. As we took a seat, David handed me a guitar and said, "Okay kid, show us what you got." I don't remember much about that experience (thankfully my mom recorded it). But, that moment started an ongoing conversation with David, who is graciously offering to produce our music for Be The Change Youth Initiative. So, we're headed to Franklin in October.

Risks and challenges
For us, the only risk is not asking for help. There has been an overwhelming amount of prayer over this ministry by more people than we could have ever imagined. The risk of our disobedience in moving forward is missing out on what God is going... and we definitely don't want that. Please, pray about joining us on this journey.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
