Music. S'mores. Why ask for more?
I have decided to use this Kickstarter to distribute my new album or EP (depending on final length) which will be called Drifting. It's going to be an awesome combination of acoustic guitars, aged sounds (mellotrons! Must have!) and some other fun things as well.
In addition, I want to make a s'more. I haven't had one for an incredibly long time, during a campfire with family members. Or maybe we simply made them in the microwave; it's been so long, I don't remember. I want to revisit the joy of the s'more and I am asking for your help to do so.
I also want to send a digital copy of my upcoming Drifting EP to every backer at the $1 level and above.
$100 - This will cover 100 albums printed (minus shipping and extra cost I'd cover) which would probably be handed out for free at a convention.
$400 - This would cover a GoPro so I could record some awesome video to go along with the new music. And perhaps some s'more cooking as well.
$5,000 -- Hire an ORCHESTRA for the album and write an epic opera.
Risks and challenges
The album will be made and distributed to backers of this Kickstarter. The amount of exposure and number of people who own it will be exclusive to this for several months. The physical album, unless we reach the $100 stretch goal, will only have enough copies printed to send to backers at the $10 level.
There are no risks. If some s'mores are to be enjoyed, they will be enjoyed. If a future of s'mores is not in the cards and this Kickstarter does not succeed, then that is surely God's will.
The challenges involved will be to produce s'mores that look appetizing and are not too messy. If we make enough through the Kickstarter, we may begin experimenting with other kinds of foods and ingredients that could certainly cause some messy s'mores to be produced. It will be an experimental quest and I hope we'll be able to go on this adventure together.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
