I am a photographer creating a Time-Lapse video over the next 2 years showing the building progress of the new One World Trade Center Tower (formerly known as Freedom Tower) in New York. The video will use a fixed camera showing the Tower emerging on the skyline from a distance (see the two cranes marking the Tower's location in the above preview video) in addition to video from the site itself (see pics at the bottom). The final video will show 2 years of construction in 10-15 minutes and the completed Tower is expected to look like this (photo by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill):
Upon completion the Tower will become the tallest in New York, America and the Western Hemisphere. This is currently the world's highest profile building project and I hope to document the progress to completion and present it in an informative and beautiful manner.
The project has been under way since Feb and is currently self funded but I need a small amount of funding for maintenance and to ensure completion.
Any kind donations would be used over the next two years for camera rigging equipment for the fixed camera, camera equipment to allow simultaneous filming at the site and from a distance, access to locations including fixed camera position and post production.
