Hey! I just wanted to let you know I received my hardcover copy today - it looks outstanding. Thanks for another great art book (and thank you for keeping the text on the spines lined up)! You should send some folks over to the Midnite Monsters campaign - I'm really excited for that one too!

    2. Melancholy Hill on April 30, 2013

I sent you an important message through the site...I need to either change my shipping address if my package hasn't shipped yet, or, barring that, get a tracking number for the package. I have not received it yet and other packages of mine have been stolen recently. Please respond, thank you.

    3. Seung Lee on April 26, 2013

Hey I sent y'all a message a couple days ago via KS PM if you haven't seen it yet

    4. Benign Kingdom 5-time Creator on April 15, 2013

@Benjamin Hey Benjamin! We're really sorry to hear that. Can you send us a private message with the full details of the issue so we can resolve it ASAP? Thank you!

    5. Benjamin Rabin on April 12, 2013

I just got my one random art book, and thought that I was supposed to get a special print as well as a result of one of the stretch goals unlocked. Was that an error in my order, or am I mistaken?

    6. Benign Kingdom 5-time Creator on April 5, 2013

@Luyen We haven't sent out the PDF yet, we'll be emailing all backer with links in the next few weeks. Thanks!

    7. Luyen on April 5, 2013

Hi! I was wondering if I will get my pdf copy as I receive my hard copy, or should I have received it earlier?

    8. Benign Kingdom 5-time Creator on March 14, 2013

@peterpur a response to the survey gives us your email upon you submitting it. That way we'll be sending the pdf links via email and through Kickstarter since we had issues with people missing the messages via kickstarter alone in the past. Thanks!

    9. Benign Kingdom 5-time Creator on March 14, 2013

@Daniel We are going to be sending out PDFs. We asked for information from you via a backer survey as we had a LOT of people in the last few kickstarters miss the kickstarter messages that included their links to the PDFs. So this time we want to be able to send them both ways to make sure people get their reward link.

I'm also a little confused. I think I remember just being able to download the pdfs from the last two collections? I might be wrong! Is there an estimated date for pdf availability?

    11. peterpur on March 13, 2013

regarding the "needs some info from you", please explain to me: why do i have to provide my physical address, but not my email address, when my reward are the PDF versions?

    12. Crystal-Le on February 7, 2013

      Funded! Congratulations! XD

    13. Crystal-Le on February 7, 2013

Hmmmm... I guess we won't make it to 50k. About 45 minutes left but still, A for effort. We got a lot of stretch goals done ^_^

Oop there we go! Thanks for being awesome, whoever did that! Thanks for being awesome, everybody!

    15. Crystal-Le on February 7, 2013

Well SOMEONE pushed it over. I wonder if we can get to 50k. 72 minutes left! XD

    16. Melancholy Hill on February 7, 2013

@Thomas: Stole your thunder! lol. This was the goal I really wanted, too, because I may just frame those prints...

Thomas Comer on February 7, 2013

Only $20 away from those large prints. I'm considering pushing it over myself.

    18. Melancholy Hill on February 7, 2013

You're welcome...just changed my pledge and took us from 44, 980 to 45, 020. Next goal please! =D

    19. Crystal-Le on February 7, 2013

@Fiona: No problem. I've been in that boat before. I'm just glad I can help. ^_^

Oh, yes, thank you! I must have been really tired the first time I looked over the pledges, apologies.

    21. Crystal-Le on February 7, 2013

Wow! I just noticed we broke 40k awhile ago and we're STILL going. To 45k or BUST! XD

    22. Crystal-Le on February 6, 2013

@Fiona: If you want the soft-covered individual books it's in the $145 pledge category. If you want the hardcover collection books it's in the $275 pledge category (which is sold out right now) and the $325 pledge category. Make sure to read it if that is what you were asking for. ^_^

      Fiona on February 6, 2013

Hi, is there a pledge category where I can just get the Spring 2013, Fall 2012, and Spring 2012 artbooks?

    24. Henry Chan on February 6, 2013

@Keidy Zuniga: You're welcome. I was thinking about it for ages and decided to just go for it.

    25. Crystal-Le on February 6, 2013

@Henry Chan: Thanks a lot! As much as I really wanted to get those signatures for that bookplate, the more I thought about it, the more that's just out of my price range. I did want to get all of the books hardcovered though. I plan on flipping through it a lot for inspiration and reference. Maybe someday I'll see some of the artists at a convention and have it signed there. That's always more fun anyways. ^_^

    26. Henry Chan on February 5, 2013

I've upgraded my pledge so there's now one more $275 reward available.

    27. Crystal-Le on February 4, 2013

Made it to 35K! We broke to another stretch goal! Congrats! XD

@Nich - A pantone is a specially formulated color that is only EVER that color. With full color printing the inks are Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black (CMYK). Every printer and machine has slight variations of colors, so if you want to have one color that is uniform and only ever that color you use a pantone.

    29. Nich Maragos on January 29, 2013

Now that we've reached the "printing including a pantone" goal... what does that mean?

    30. Benign Kingdom 5-time Creator on January 26, 2013

@Henry Chan - it is pretty awesome. We really love the support and enthusiasm everyone has for Benign Kingdom!

    31. Henry Chan on January 25, 2013

You've been selected as the Project of the Day. How cool is that?! :D

    32. Crystal-Le on January 22, 2013

      $24,999.... You've got to be kidding me! Just $1 for $25k! >.<

    33. Crystal-Le on January 21, 2013

I'm so excited to find this Kickstater! The artists that are shown in these books are AMAZING and I am thankful that to be a part of something so important like this. ^_^

    34. Stephanie Hahn-Wagner on January 18, 2013

So excited! And sorely annoyed at myself for not getting the previous Benign Kingdom. :(

    35. Bird on January 18, 2013

      I'm a big fan of Gigi's work!

    36. Jacob Hahn on January 17, 2013

Wow, that hit the goal pretty fast!

I'm just curious.. how many pages can we expect each book to be (is there a set/minimum number)? Also is this purely an art book showcasing different pieces from each artist or there any story element to it all?

    38. Tony Lejeck on January 17, 2013

All you guys had to do was say "Gigi D.G." and I threw down $90! You keep getting the best possible artists, I love you guys!

    39. Benign Kingdom 5-time Creator on January 17, 2013

@Jason Hsu - Any edition with a bookplate is signed by that season's artists!

    40. Jason Hsu on January 17, 2013

@Benign Creator: does the $110 tier include the artists signatures or doodles on the bookplate? The $110 and $115 pledges from the previous two collections include artist signatures or doodles and i'm hoping that's the case here too.
