As a single Dad raising two girls while also running a business, I basically have very little time and don't like most lunch containers that are hard to clean and bulky to store. I'm always mindful of our expenses but I want my girls to have healthy food choices.
3 things really matter to me; convenience, health and economy.
My idea for the Mighty Stash Pack™ was to simplify the lunch bag idea as a whole, to create a different experience of packing your lunch that could be cool. Creating something great for kids but also for parents who have to clean the containers out every night.
Convenience - Most lunch boxes are bulky and hard to clean out especially in the corners where the crumbs always hide.
Storing lunch containers is a pet peeve of mine, I don't like having to allocate space in our tiny NYC apartment for these bulky containers, I wanted something that I could store with the food containers.
Tetrahedron - The solution I wanted was a cool way to maximize a storage area from a flat piece of material. The tetrahedron shape was the ideal form for creating a flat lunch box that could actually hold lots of food.
A couple years ago I had invented a tiny coin pouch called the "Mighty Stash Bag" that had a tetrahedron shape.
Health - The number one determinate factor of eating healthy is cooking your own food. Packing your lunch from food that you choose is the healthy choice that is made easier to take to work or school by carrying a cool Mighty Stash Pack™.
Economy - When I was considering the material I had originally thought of producing something in Tyvek® like my Mighty Wallets but the cost was too high and the material did not hold up well over repeated washing.
Making sure the materials were not only functional and durable but also economical was a very important decision in the overall design.
Finding the right size, dimensions and materials took the most time to develop while keeping the overall design simple as you can see in the R&D section.
This product has been in development for 1 1/2 years while I tested out all different materials, size adjustments, zipper configurations and handle placement to make the Mighty Stash Pack a durable, affordable and easy to use lunch solution.
Here are some of the different iterations that took shape over the past year and a half. It's hard to believe that something so simple would take so much work but keeping something simple is often the hardest thing to do.
Making sure the strap could function with a carbiner to snap onto a backpack or the back of a car seat. This really helped with the portability of the design.
I went through about a dozen different material combinations to come up with the right combo that had thermal protection, flexibility and washability.
Making something simple is always the hardest thing because there are so many little surprises along the way that you don't discover till you start testing. Certain materials created friction inside that made bumps in Mighty Stash Pack™.
Choosing to go with solid colors for the first round of designs was a conscious decision to keep the overall look more accessible to all ages and demographics.

We can ensure the highest production quality through stringent production pre-press verification, spot checks, factory compliance and "T.O.P. production verification".

We have 3rd party agents who oversee all the production details and ensure deadlines and QC are being met according to plan.
We've produced goods under stringent requirements at a high level of factory compliance and quality control standards.
Our anticipated production cycle for our MOQ (minimum order quantity) is 30 days with delivery to our fulfillment center in the US. All backers will then receive their Mighty Stash Packs within 7-14 days once they arrive at our US distribution center.
We have a state of the art fulfillment warehouse that can fulfill and supply tracking and delivery confirmation information for all packages.
We have renowned customer service that ensures that even if something slips through the cracks we will resolve your issues ASAP.
