Update #3!
Everyone gets a fancier cover and a ribbon bookmark now that we have surpassed 23,000! Thanks again everyone!
Also we are revealing the 5x7 Kickstarter exclusive print (which is also the 9x12 inch $500 pledge reward painting that is still available)! Check it out below!

The Tiny Kitten Teeth Hardcover Book!

We've been making the comic Tiny Kitten Teeth for the past three years. One of the things that makes it special is it is entirely hand-painted in gouache and watercolor. It's inspired by our love of vintage animation, folk art, story-books, illustration and light-hearted satire. Our drive in creating the comic is we want to share all the things we love with our readers.
We are compiling the first three years of our comic, all 110+ pages, into a deluxe hardcover book. The pages will be much closer to their original size than ever before. We're re-scanning, re-lettering and adding some extra material to bridge some gaps in the story.
The plan is for books to be mailed out by early October, after releasing the book at Small Press Expo in September (and a little party in Los Angeles perhaps!)
We're Becky and Frank!
We've been making comics together on and off for seven years now. The past three years we've been working full-time on Tiny Kitten Teeth. Our previous Kickstarter projects, the Tigerbuttah book and the B9 Kingdom Art books, changed our lives. Following the release of the book and our engagement, we set about moving from New Zealand to Los Angeles where we've been fortunate enough to work on animation for Yo Gabba Gabba, comics and screenprints for Adventure Time and a bunch of other really fun projects. We've also recently been working on our new project, Capture Creatures.
However, 2012 is the year we are re-focusing our efforts on our personal work, which is Tiny Kitten Teeth!
Pledge Prizes & Products!
The big thing is the book. We wanted this to be the best book we could do, with a canvas feel to the cover, over-size pages more akin to that of a French comic album like Asterix, to really get the full experience of the painted comic page. The spine is screen-printed silver. There will be plenty of fun bells and whistles. The more that is pledged, the more cool things we can add to make the book even more unique!
In addition to the book, we have put together a bunch of exclusive prizes and packages for the Kickstarter you will not be able to get anywhere else!
Pins and Patches

Although we won't be able to make it quite as detailed as the image above, we will be doing pins and patches of the shield crest of Owltown University, the college that our protagonist Mewsli attends. We're really excited about our very first patch. Here are some examples of lapel pins we've made before!

We've been wanting to do a beautiful black nickel pin but have been holding back until we could finally get the book released. It will be a simplified depiction of the school crest. You will be the first people to get your hands on these pins!
Art Prints
There is a yet to be revealed 5x7 print! This secret print will be revealed in an upcoming backer report. All our prints are made in-house by us to ensure the highest level of quality. They are printed on genuine 240gsm watercolor rag to duplicate the original textured surface of the painting. The ChromaLife inks used are rated for 100 years without degradation. Paper is similarly rated for over 100 years without degradation and is designed to meet the ISO 9706 standards for museum and gallery longevity requirements.

There is also the above 8.5x11 print set, which is also exclusive to the Kickstarter. All prints will come signed by me, Becky!
Original art!
Since everything we do is with traditional media, that means you can own original pieces of art! We're offering a lot of the art at a slightly lower price than usual as a bonus to supporters of our Kickstarter!

There are these two simple fellows in a folk art style (a take on the simplified characters from Chapter Zero) painted on 8.5x11 sheets of watercolor paper.

These are the original gouache on watercolor paper paintings that we made the exclusive prints from. These paintings took days and are truly one-of-a-kind!
A Painting Of Your Choice!

Pictured above: An example of a 9x12 commission!
We haven't been able to take on any commission paintings for quite sometime, so we're offering a very limited number of them in the Kickstarter, at both 9x12 and 11x14 sizes. We likely won't be able to offer any commissions for quite some time after the Kickstarter!
The Grand Prize

The final prize is a page of Tiny Kitten Teeth. Measuring in at 11x16 inches, few people outside of our close friends have ever seen original pages until now. You will be the only person other than us to own one. We don't envision selling a page again for quite some time. These pages take days to complete and we are yet to part with one since we started, over 3 years ago!
Thankyou!
To everyone who is supporting us in this project and who has supported us throughout the past few years in Tiny Kitten Teeth and our related projects. We wouldn't be able to do this without you!
We'd also like to thank that Ben Mekler and Tyler Hutchison for shooting our video, as well as our friend Disasteradio for his sweet tunes! Last, but not least, thanks to George Rohac, for everything he does for us and other independent cartoonists around the world.
