About

We Are So Excited To Be Taking This Adventurist Journey
We Are So Excited To Be Taking This Adventurist Journey

How Bazaar is a vintage mobile and online boutique. How Bazaar is a play on words, Bizarre as in unusual or strange, and Bazaar as in market or exchange. We sell vintage clothing, our own creations, and other cool stuff. We feature artists, designers, and stylists. It’s a space where everyone is free to dream, play dress up and be whomever they want to be.

We are going on a cross country college and festival tour to discover and document artists making film, music, and fashion, making connections with college students and festival goers on the way. We create an inventive space where designers, students and business owners can congregate and connect. Our aim is to raise visibility of the arts and entrepreneurship, personal empowerment, owning your voice, and selfcare.

At each of our twelve college stops we are offering a day of events, including meditation, artist panel discussions, space to interact with the artists, and an opportunity to buy, sell, or trade vintage items and art. At the festival locations we will sell our upcycled fashions and provide a lounge area for festival goers.

Each event will be professionally produced and filmed for our web series. We will produce 12 episodes, plus bonus episodes.

On Site Connections

We work with Student Union directors, business, and arts professors at each of the college events to arrange for space and distribution of promotional materials on campus.

•We contact the campus radio stations and newspapers to arrange for coverage, and make connections with the leaders of student groups to promote our event on social media

•We provide printed and digital materials for our partners to distribute weeks in advance of the event.

•Participating groups include minority, L.G.B.T, sustainability, entrepreneur and arts student groups, student government, etc..

•Our team arrives one day before the event, meets with college staff and student leaders to coordinate last minute details and our team distributes additional promotional materials around the campus.

The College Market

•With over 20 scheduled campus events we anticipate engaging over 4,000 students at our live events

 •Students become educated, brand-loyal consumers.

•More than 15 million U.S. college students spend more than $200 billion annually.

•Marketing to college students is cost-effective because they respond more favorably to grassroots messaging than to flashy ads.

The Festival Market

•Coachella attendance – 100,000 people per day

•South by Southwest attendance – 161,000

“Interactive festivals like Austin’s South by Southwest have spawned an entire category of fashion (because really, anything goes). Attending the festival is an opportunity to get inspired and take on different personas.”

“Festivals are the greatest way to reach [millennials]," said Walter Frye, American Express' vice president of sponsorships and branded entertainment. "Because it's a destination, Coachella attracts a more affluent millennial, and we see that we are engaging thousands and thousands of members, and attracting new customers."

Risks and challenges

We are taking this amazing truck on a cross country road trip. (Shrug) What can go wrong?

We are doing this adventure on a very tight budget and (OMG) anything can happen!

We would like to stay positive about all the outcomes that could happen but, this is a 1995 Ford Econolodge... (She's kinda old in car years) We just pray she holds up for this amazing journey! She does have only 17,000 miles on her so.... We should be A OK.

We are a very hard working and ambitious group but health can come and go... We are only human.

We have no doubt that we will be able to complete this project and do an amazing job with it!

We pledge to do our hardest to keep hydrated and well rested, so that none of us burn out.

Please be apart of our social media community, so that if anything does happen you will be the first to know... We are sure it will be a funny learning experience.
