Nefytopia is a RPG (Role Playing Game), played on a tabletop with miniatures. Recommended 1-6+ players. Game play can move fast, campaigns can last an hour or more it depends on your Master Officiate (MO).
Nefytopia is a game that’s been evolving and with your help will be available to the public August 2019.
Nefytopia started with building cardboard ships out of cereal boxes and masking tape using my Civil War 54mm Marx toy soldiers. In the Winter\Spring when my parents’ front yard flooded across our driveway, that was over 40 years ago.
Evolving from those humble beginnings Nefytopia traded out those cereal boxes for balsa and basswood, the old 54mm Marx was traded for 1/72 scale Esci, then 25mm metal Grenadiers. The rules have changed from snowballs and rocks to charts and dice. Currently all miniatures for Nefytopia will be sculpted by Frank M. Nefzger and others, we'll keep you posted as new artists join the project. All miniatures are cast by Battleguard Ready LLC of Jackson, Michigan.
Nefytopia is set in a fantasy world. Many years ago a catastrophe melted the polar caps and flooded the entire planet. Without land the inhabitants embraced magic, religion, and the sea.
Rumor has it that the polar caps are starting to freeze. The search is on to be the first to find, claim and hold the land.
Nefytopia is an RPG RolePlaying Game D20\D10 rule system, with miniatures the playing surface is ship to ship, on water or onboard. The player has to have some interest in assembling the ships. The rules are simple and will be shared soon.

Our Goal if you choose its worthy to help:
Bring Nefytopia to the world through our website and retailers. Each game box ordered will have the choice from 20 different ships, and 75 different miniatures. All materials will be downloadable from our site for customers. The bonus is that each game will be different from the start, from the choices made by the customer. Everything will be ala cart and charged according to whatever the customer purchases.
Nefytopia is EASY to learn, FUN to play and CHALLENGING to Master!
Game play Overview:
Assemble the ships, read through quick start rules, call your friends.
Choose who will be the Master Officiate or MO for short. MO is the center of the Nefytopia world without him\her Nefytopia doesn’t exist. The center storyteller, and the best listener.
The rest of the people are players.
Th MO will take a little time to master but can start with one of our scenario or write your own. The MO is the projectionist of the Theater of the mind for the players, using the miniatures and ships as the MO's props.
The game is based on the D20 for most combat and D10 for percentile dice rolls.
Captain and Crew:
Frank M. Nefzger has been painting, sculpting and casting toy soldiers for 40+ years. Oct 2017 we acquired New Hope Design and moved production from the UK to Jackson, Michigan. Currently we have 3600 production moulds, casting 1600+ miniatures.
Backers will receive their rewards mid September 2019, we're looking forward to getting rewards out sooner, we will keep everyone informed on our progress.
If successful we'll purchase a new press and have dies made for the balsa\basswood ships. that process will take about three months but will not hold up the project as we'll be sculpting, miniatures making master\production moulds.
How's the money spent:
50% new equipment and supplies.
40% artists, sculptors and writers.
10% Kickstarter fees.
