I will try this when I get home from work
need assistance as well... "can't find mapforge prototype.dir."
I could use some help. Not sure how to type in the Actual pathway.
@Battlegrounds Shows how much of the campaign page I read before I backed it...
No need to be a backer to download the prototype, either.
@Steven, Right on the project page (lower half). There are three download links.
You keep talking about the prototype, but how available is it for backers to try out? I'm guessing I missed it (link in an old update that doesn't jump out while skimming them? email that went to spam?), but could you share it again?
Great, thank you for this Prickly Pear :-) I didn't know the trick with dragging an app to the terminal window - that's a real timesaver!
Thanks for that tip, Prickly Pear! That helps with the hardest part.
CTRLALTCREATIVE, Terminal can be scary at first, I know.
Kurt, the Windows version of the prototype had its own problems, the first few days, but it should be working fine for everyone, now.
Hate to mess around with Terminal, so I hope you get it solved
Workaround if the MapForge prototype won't run for you in Mac OS X Sierra ?
Get a PC.
The easiest way to "type" the path to MapForge is to locate MapForge in a Finder window and then drag the icon onto the Terminal window. Obviously, do this after you have typed the first bit of the command (or copy/paste). Lastly, execute the command by pressing enter or return on the keyboard.
