Hi again, folks. Over 80% funded, with almost 3 weeks to go. Not too shabby!

This time around, I've got a video to show you all, partly because it shows off some more of David Baumgart's wonderful hex tile content (since a third Add-On on the collection has now been ported), but primarily to demonstrate some new features that I'm adding for v1.0.9 of MapForge. I hope everyone (current backer or not) takes the time to watch the video before this campaign ends.

I had intended to get this video posted sooner, but the weekends have a way of crimping my work time. 

To finish off this Update, here's another sample map made with the "Hex March" content. Those of you who prefer detailed coastlines in your maps would be well served by either or both of the Hex March Add-Ons.

      Some feedback on randomised tiles. For certain types of tile can randomise autoroptate the tiles. I have noticed that your random tiles are orientated. You could add a tag in the code of each tile indicating whether a tile must be orientated, such as isometrics and corner tiles, can be flipped on one axis, such as wall tiles, or free to be orientated in one of four facings, such as must floor tiles. Thus when randomising you can automatically get random tiles in random orientations, and things like walls, roads and rivers snake around more.

      Ransom tiles, background images, the Hex March preview - wow, it is looking great. Keep up the good work.
