Hello there! I am series creator BEN DUNN.
For 30 years NINJA HIGH SCHOOL the comic has entertained thousands and thousands of readers. Now in conjunction with the ENnie Award winning publisher, Battlefield Press and game designer Jonathan M. Thompson, we present to you a ROLE PLAYING GAME ready for you to tell your own stories at Quagmire High School.
You've always believed your favorite character was the best- now you can prove it! Take the role of that character and you can now be the one deciding what he or she can do in any given situation.
This role playing game puts you in the center seat, it allows you to control what is happening in your own version of the Ninja High School comic. Your imagination, this book, a pencil, some paper, and some dice are all that are needed for you to tell the story you have always wanted to tell.
Ninja High School the Manga and Anime Role Playing Game is based off of Ben Dunn's long running comic book published by Antarctic Press Publishing. The game is built using a version of the D6 game system made popular in such titles as D6 Fantasy, D6 Adventure and D6 Space from West End Games. This game contains the complete rules on how to build your own character, along with six different customizable archetype templates for quick play, such as Student, Teacher, Genius, Gun Bunny, Ninja and Magus. In addition to all of this several of the major characters are provided in the back of the book so that they may be played instead. The dice are easy to come by, all you need to is pull them out of any boardgame you or your parents may own, such as Monopoly(tm), Sorry! (tm) or Trivial Pursuit(tm). They can even be purchased at nearly any store. The game itself will come in as a 6 x 9 softcover book, with black & white interiors and a color cover.
Ninja High School (also known as NHS) is a comic book series created, written, and illustrated by Ben Dunn, and currently published by Antarctic Press. It was at first published by Eternity Comics. On occasion other artists and writers have contributed to the series including Carlos Kastro, Eric Meheu and Fabian Doles. It is currently being developed into a Feature Film by Perfect Circle Productions. NHS takes place in a suburban town known as Quagmire, located "Somewhere in the Midwest". The series originally centers on the misadventures of one Jeremy Feeple, a 16-year-old boy attending Quagmire High School, an alien princess named Asrial from a planet called Salusia, and a young female ninja named Ichi-Kun Ichihonei, from Japan. Originally intended as a mini-series, the comic hit such a boom of popularity that it became a full series, currently totaling over 160 issues (as well as two mini-series, "Ninja High School V2" and "Quagmire USA" and the color mini-series "The Prom Formula"). There have also been two-issue furry parodies which went by the name "Furry Ninja High School" and "Furry Ninja High School Strikes Back". Fan-contributed editions of the series include the "Ninja High School Yearbook" and "Ninja High School Swimsuit Edition". This role playing game puts you in the center seat, it allows you to control what is happening in your own version of the Ninja High School comic. Your friends, your imagination, this book, a pencil, some paper, and some dice are all that are needed for you to tell the story you have always wanted to tell. Welcome to …..

What will these funds be used for?
We are using these funds for many purposes, they will be used to pay authors, artist, layout, to print promotional material and to pay licensing fees. These things will be paid out immediately on the receipt of funds from Kickstarter. Additionally, Kickstarter takes 10% of whatever total we amass in fees.
What does access to print on demand at cost mean?
When the book is done, you will receive a link to the print on demand copy at cost. Then you can pay DriveThruRPG roughly $6.00 + shipping to your location and they will print and ship to you directly a 6 x 9 softcover, black & white version of the game.
This means 100% of backer money goes toward creating this project, and we don't have to charge additional money upfront or increase the goal to cover the costs of printing and shipping. This project's #1 goal is to finish the book and get into your hands!
The exception to this is the higher tiers, we will have to have those books shipped to us to sign and then shipped to the recipient. This will also cause a delay in getting the books out to you, and for that we apologize.
Stretch Goal #6 $12,000. Upon reaching $12,000 we will make all core rulebooks full color. Locked

The biggest possible delay will come from any stretch goals that we may include. The risk of delay happens anytime you put control in the hands of another person, who has their own issues they must deal with as well.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
