We Made it!!!!
We have reached our fundraising goal with time to spare! that means that all pledges committed will actually make it to us....and we still have 33 hours left if people keep giving or want to give more (nothing wrong with that!). if i haven't gotten a chance to thank you personally it because we are so busy with our other shows in the Twist festival which is going GREAT! Great press, great visibilty, great weather. It all bodes fantastically for Dogugaeshi. Actually the gift that put us over the top was someone who saw Petrushka on sunday and just had to adjust his pledge in a big way to hit our goal. (if you didn't know adjusting your pledge is totally allowed!) I am grateful to him, to my puppeteers for extra inspiring him that day, to my mom Lynne who really pushed this request out there in way only she can do...and to each and every single one of you who contributed to this campaign and helped spread the word. You are a part of this show which will be the jewel of this festival. I am so pleased and excited...and relieved!!!
Still lots to do obviously to get this show up...im looking for some local eager helpers to be stagehands, and we still have some small gaps in our housing solutions...but these funds will go a long way to making this show be all it should be. If you can make it to the shows at the Studio Theatre april 11-22 please let me know!
Kickstarter has really been a revelation. Its quite an incredible tool to build a community of supporters, and so i am also really grateful to the creators of this site. and those kickstarter savvy friends who helped me thru.Thank you! and lets see what happens in these remaining 33 hours of this campaign
Okay im going to go jump back into the tank for Symphonie Fantastique
