Test run for the enclosure parts
Last week was a big week for the building of the clock enclosure. I did a couple test runs on the CNC and laser cutter to make sure everything fits nicely together.
The exterior plywood of the clock is built out of 3/8" plywood and is cut on the CNC. Here is a video of the cutting in action ...
We also tested the cutting of all MDF parts, inside and outside of the clock, and the Plexiglass front panel on the laser cutter. Here is a very short video of the Plexiglass on the laser cutter.
All the parts are now ready for production. This week the Plexiglass front panel will be manufactured and next week we start cutting the wood parts.
With all the parts cut to size I have been able to test the assembly of assembly. Here are some pictures of the clock enclosure that is part of the full kit and, of course, the assembled clocks.
As scheduled. all electronic only kits are now ready to ship. In the following days you will receive a survey from Kickstarter asking for your address, phone number and other information related to the delivery of your reward.
You must fill this survey! I have no other way of getting your address to send your reward. Surveyx for the other rewards will be sent when I'm ready to send the rewards in Decembre.
