Our beautiful little scene started nearly one year ago. We’ve grown, made new friends, and bonded over a fantastic arcade game that has led to some amazing experiences. Join us on March 22nd to celebrate the one year anniversary of Baltimore Killer Queen. The cabinets will be on free play all night, so it’s the perfect time to bring your friends out and show them what you’ve been up to all year.

March 22nd, 2019 - Holy Frijoles - 7pm - 2am
March 22nd, 2019 - Holy Frijoles - 7pm - 2am

Also, we’re doing a second run of our Maryland Flag Drone T-shirts. If you missed out last year or need a second one, this party will be a great time to pick one up! You can pre-order one here:  https://custom3dstuff.com/products/maryland-flag-baltimore-killer-queen-t-shirt

(Choose ZIMBABWE for free in-store pickup at Holy Frijoles. Otherwise it'll charge you shipping and I'll just mail it to you.)

See you every Tuesday and Wednesday around 8pm, and hopefully for the party on March 22nd. Cabs will be on free play!

Thank you all so much for playing with us every week for the last year.

The Killer Queen Documentary

Baltimore Killer Queen has been thriving!

So much so, that a number of players in our community have traveled to visit players from other cities. That's right! Other cities just like us! Who woulda thunk.

One of Baltimore's KQ community organizers, Clarkson, has been floored by the amazing people he's met all throughout the country. Passionate players from New York, Charlotte, Portland, Chicago, and other amazing cities have made lifelong friendships through Killer Queen. Because of the rich history of the players and their communities, Clarkson has embarked on a journey to create a Killer Queen Documentary dedicated to telling their stories.

The Killer Queen Documentary will be a seven-part series showcasing players from the six most dedicated cities as they travel to tournaments and compete to be crowned the winner of Bumblebash, the national Killer Queen championship. Clarkson is running a campaign to help fund the creation of this documentary. You can find the campaign at www.thekillerqueendocumentary.com in order to claim some sweet merch and help support a budding creator.

Everyone who supported Baltimore Killer Queen has been invaluable, and I'm certain you'll be amazed by what else our community can create. As a reminder, we play every Tuesday and Wednesday at Holy Frijoles in Hampden. Come on by and play a few games. Thanks so much and we'll you on the cabs!

Hopefully you've heard by now, but if not, tonight's the night for some serious KQ action. This Wednesday, and every Wednesday until your jar of honey expires, we'll be playing Killer Queen at Holy Frijoles and streaming it live on Twitch. This allows us to provide live interactive commentary for those folks who can't make it our, who live in other cities, or who want to watch recorded games to hone their skills. Watch live at twitch.tv/baltimorekillerqueen and listen to Marty and Jonathan from the We Have to Ask podcast.

We've also got the screen in and mounted, thanks to you!

Tonight, Charm City Meadworks is sponsoring freeplay, so keep those bills in your pockets from 6-9pm this evening. Thanks Charm City Meadworks! And of course check out their mead which is available at the bar.

At 9pm, we'll be hosting a $3 per player league night, drafting teams, and awarding points. Hang on to your points because after the season is up, you might be taking home a trophy!

Check out these sweet made-in-Baltimore Next Level shirts! They're printed by our friends at Momentum Printing and Productions in Hampden and came out very nice.

We hope you've been enjoying playing with us the last several weeks. Great news... We're actually more than 90% shipped on all rewards! You'll start receiving them early this week. Those of you who opted for local pickup, come by Holy Frijoles this week on Wednesday evening to pick up your shirts.

What's left to do on our end is fulfill the few reward tiers that include the Family Portrait picture frames, make a nice plaque, and schedule the Sponsored Happy Hour nights wit those of you who pledged for those tiers. Please reach out to us to help us make that happen.

We've already started building what we need for the streaming and spectator's equipment, and already have the special TV mount needed to hold up the spectator's screen which will be mounted on the wall above the cabinets.

Stay tuned!
