Uncut Random Gameplay :)

Hi there folks! Here is 16 minutes of pure random gameplay from the kickstarter pre-alpha version. It's not much but we are getting there! :) (we simply could not cut out a few things because our machines are so slow...arrg)

      Watching the video, I can't help thinking some popular YouTuber should want to give this some play time. It's so much further along than so many other kickstarters.

      Looks like it will be a fun game. Through I find it a bit weird that you are using both mana and cooldown spell system. if you feel that spell is too powerfull why not make it cost more mana or subsequent cast cost more mana, or it takes all/specific school spells cost more mana to cast afterwards. It's just that this mana+cooldown system felt kinda shit in dragonage.
      I guess you know better and will make it good.

      One of the things I noticed is that when looting, you click the take all button and then have to click to close the loot window. Is there a way to make the loot window automatically close with just the one click instead of two? That would be very convenient.

      I was going to ask about possible future stealing/stealth mechanics as well, but Aglarele beat me to it. Glad to hear there such features will be in the final game.

      Also, maybe it's too early to say, but will there be an option/key binding to highlight all containers and other items on screen that can be interacted with? I do understand some people enjoy that kind of exploration, but constant "pixel-hunting" for every barrel, crate, table, etc. that can be searched might get a little old in a world of this size.

      Thanks for your hard work - I really, really like what I've seen so far!

      Combat balance is in a really, really early state :) And yes NPCs will be hostile if you steal from them. (not implemented yet)

      Looks nice :) Lots of variation in houses is good. I'm probably going to need a map badly though, I always tend to get lost in the wilds hehe.
      I take it npcs don't mind if you take items from their homes? Or at least I didn't see any negative reaction to that. How about their garden?

      I vividly remember playing my first MMO, Ultima Online. Exploring the towns, the lands, and the oceans. Even though it was a top down view, I felt like I was in the world. The graphics were nice and crisp. Building my first home was exhilarating. Eventually that game became too popular, and the PK and griefer population ruined the experience. I'm still looking for that experience again.

      Every screenshot and video I see keeps stirring up those memories. The good memories.
