Flesh Eaters is a real time strategy, zombie survival game, with resource gathering and crafting game play elements.
Each area will contain different types of resources, after you've looted these resources you can return to your base
and upgrade it, build barricades, gun sentries, level up your survivors, craft equipment and more.
When you start a new game in Flesh Eaters, the first thing you'll need to do is establish a defence perimeter. You should start by searching for resources, find some wood and nails, then barricade the windows, close all the doors, find metal to build turrets and mines with the engineer.
You can explore and search for survivors, loot other areas, plant bombs and may even be ambushed by other survivors. We are currently implementing a random generation system so that each time you play, you'll have a new experience.
As you kill zombies, loot, craft and perform actions your characters will level up. You can use the Skilldex to level up your characters and assign skill points to different attributes.
Their are three classes to chose from at this time, Soldier, Medic and engineer, each class has unique abilities and can equip and craft different gear. You can also chose your class load out at the start of each new game, so you choose to have more than one engineer for example. This would allow you to set up gun sentries and mines more efficiently.
The main development team behind Flesh Eaters, 16-bit Nights, is made up just two guys, Christi and Dmitry.
We deal with artwork, animation and programming. We have a huge passion for making games and hope you enjoy playing Flesh Eaters as much as we've enjoyed working on it.
We also have some awesome original music made for the game by the talented guys over at The Nova Project.

We have tried to remain active within the community, dealing with customer questions, feedback and complaints as best we can. It's important to us that people see that we are very much in touch with the community of players throughout the development process.
The game itself has gone through several updates since the launch, bug fixes, patches, content updates and more. If the Kickstarter is successful we can get onto really jazzing up the game as we finish the development.
We need your support to add polish the Flesh Eaters, to add additional features and to make it an even more awesome game-play experience.
The money will go directly towards the development of the game, to help myself and my partner continue to work on the game and add brand new content and features. Up until now, all of the development costs have either been from Steam sales or our of our own pocket.
New areas of the game we will be able to develop further or completely fresh features we will be able to add, if this Kickstarter campaign is successful are:
- A finished, polished game. With a more detailed story.
- The ability for the player to customize their base.
- Boss missions.
- Find and barter with other survivors for resources, gear etc Or just kill them.
If we hit our initial goal of £2500, we'd love to add even more to the game. I've added some stretch goals. Let's see how we do. Below are the stretch goals and amounts we would require in order to implement them into Flesh Eaters.
£2750 - Voice acting, additional story and multiple endings!
If we make it £2750, we'll add professional voice acting, additional story and multiple endings.
£3000 - Map editor!
If we reach £3000, we'll add a map editor so you guys can make and share your own maps.
£3250 - Co-op Multi-player!
Help us reach £3250 an we'll be able to implement a cop-op multi-player, survive waves of zombies, loot, craft and build defences together.
£4000 - Advanced multi-player!
Advanced multi-player will include sharing and playing, created maps with your friends, a Zombie VS Survivor mode and a death match mode - Kill your friend before the zombies kill you both!
Risks and challenges
The game will get finished, full stop. But to really add some Huzzah to the game, we really need your support. If this Kickstarter isn't successful, we can still make the game. So there is no risk there, but additional features are only possible with the support of you guys.
It's also worth mentioning, that if we reach our Kickstarter goal, we can finish the game in two months. If we can't hit that target, we'll have to carry on at our current development pace. We estimate that the game will be finished March 2016.
