Your generous contributions will fund hilarious original artwork
We want you to be involved with this project at an early stage so you can help shape it to be one of your favorite games on your shelf. We will run a second Kickstarter campaign later in 2017 to fund the manufacturing of the game.
We have recruited the acclaimed Pop artist Brad Ulreich to work on this project. This campaign will raise funds to hire him to produce the full set of artwork for this game, based on YOUR input!
Following completion of the artwork, we have lined up a trusty manufacturer with a great depth of understanding in the board game market (Panda Games) for production and Amazon fulfillment services for distribution of this game to Europe and North America.
RomBomb is for 3-6 players and plays in 15 to 40 minutes. It's a game about taking risks with your opponents to either gain social status - thus being more attractive to potential mates - or to diminish the social status of other players, lessening their attractiveness. Actions are guided by hidden agenda cards, which can be accomplished by seducing or denying (Rombombing) your opponents. You can change from a hall monitor, to a hopeless romantic, to a creepy uncle in a matter of minutes, just like real life.
That’s not the only real life feature of game! The key to winning is to charm your opponents by flirting, partying, and getting jiggy with them. Be wary of the party poopers around every corner trying to Rombomb your romantic pursuits into twisted perversions!
The cards in your hand act like competing voices in your head, guiding the way you interact with your opponents.
Choose an Action (Flirt, Besmirch, Party, Kiss, Get Some, Date, Marry), Choose an Opponent, Roll the Dice; Achieve your Hidden Agenda and Gain Points. First to score 12 points wins!
Risks and challenges
We have a tight deadline to meet to deliver high quality artwork. We are willing to push this deadline back in order to reach the level that you trust us to deliver on. We have an aggressive delivery schedule and will be working in tandem to hit it in a timely manner.
This is our first campaign and we are limiting the scope of the project to manage it effectively. We've seen plenty of campaigns bite off more than they can chew and want to avoid that by learning and growing organically, one step at a time.
Our hope is that this will be the first step in a great journey with many more games to come in the future. We thank you all in advance from the bottom of our RomBombed hearts.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
