Special thanks to my family, especially my wife whose support I couldn't have done this without. Thanks to my sister for all of her help editing and promoting the game with me.
I appreciate all the help from my playtesters: Connor Boyle, Phil Boyle, Garrett Boyle, Imran Sehgal, Deepak Goel, Sean Young, David Green, Lisa Winterberger, Brendan Boyle, Paul Varner, Danica Enyart, David Latshaw, Joseph Rose, Tampa SWEEP and everyone who has helped at the events we've been to.
Risks and challenges
I've always been a hard worker. I started my first business when I was eighteen to get me through college and sold it when I graduated. It was a hell of an experience selling online and peer-to-peer on campus, I learned a lot of skills that I use today and likely will through the rest of my life.
When I graduated in 2014, I became the Director of Marketing for Coliseum of Comics, a chain of comic and game stores here in Florida. I had some great opportunities there, but I ultimately decided to cut back to part-time in order to get back in the game and bring PWNs to life.
The challenges I’ve faced, as you’ll see in most gaming Kickstarter projects, include shipping and manufacturing delays and international fulfillment. To mitigate this, we’re getting advice from as many industry professionals as possible.
Even bigger, to really make this work, I had to cut my time at my full time job down to a shortened part-time position. My time is spread thin, but I'm making it work.
I've spent countless hours researching articles and reaching out to dozens of people willing to lend a hand and give me some advice. BGG, Facebook Groups, Jamey Stegmaier, Reddit, Twitter and peer-to-peer advice has been instrumental in me getting as far as I have.
The learning process has been very rewarding and eye-opening and I'm very excited to bring this game to life.
Thank you for checking out PWNs!
