A collection of stylish graphic tees created in collaboration with up and coming artists from around the web!

About Us

We're a small team, hailing from a variety of countries: Our two founders, Sirio (aka RoboBrain) and Rachael (aka RoboGal), hail from Italy and the United States, respectively. The rest of our team spans the globe, from the US to the United Kingdom to Chile. From a concept artist in the video game industry (including work in Torchlight 1 & 2, Defense Grid, and more) to an architect, our professional backgrounds also vary. But we've all come together with one universal goal in mind: Find and promote anything we find awesome, and to further build our online community.

Our Back Story

Back in late 2010, we started a fun little blog, posting cool stuff we found online: Covering video games, comics, movies, music, and more. It slowly started to become more and more popular, and in early 2011 we launched our own website, Awesome-Robo.com. We've been able to garner a total of over 5 million views by hand promoting each post and the site as a whole, with a budget of zero dollars. From a humble blog that started off getting less than 50 hits a day, we've hand grown it into a website with thousands of visitors daily and plenty of hand curated content.

While continuing to post awesome stuff we came across, we also began to narrow our focus on artists (a lot of them up-and-coming) and their talented work. One day, while going through one particularly amazing artist's work, it hit us: This would make a great t-shirt. At that point, we knew we had a solid way to not only make a profit on our website (plastering our site with endless ads just isn't our style), but to also collaborate with and promote some really amazing artistic talent.

Our Goal

The main goal with our Tshirt line is to help secure funding for the future of our website while simultaneously providing exposure for the artists we worked with, and more to come in the future. We collaborated with a variety of artists that we previously featured to contribute designs in their unique style, as it is our goal to truly showcase each artist's individual talent.

Another goal is to bring more interest to our website, and to continue growing our readerbase and reach. We enjoy having involvement from our readers, and hope to branch out a lot more in that respect. As of late we've been a lot more submissions from indie artists, musicicans and videogame developers as the word has spread about our website and our mission.

What You'll Be Funding

The funding from this Kickstarter will go into printing the designs that we already have lined up, just waiting to get out there and be worn! As we also mentioned in our video, using the funds to print more designs will allow us to create a business side to our website. This will assist us in further developing our site, and allow us to add more functionality to our website and community features down the line.

About Our Shirts

The 4-color designs will be screen printed on 100% preshrunk cotton shirts with a seamless collar and a double-needle stitch. Durable, comfy shirts with awesome designs. What more could you ask for?
