Far and Wide
Hey backers, we're in our final week! We wanted to take a moment to share with you some of the articles and interviews that have gone live during the campaign. If any strike you as particularly compelling, we'd love it if you re-shared them!
Geek & Sundry ran an article about the campaign generally, featuring some interview questions with Avery about how we chose to set up the kickstarter and release of these games.
Boing Boing ran a short feature on us too!
Tablet writer Gabriela Geselowitz sat down and played a session of Dream Apart, before interviewing Benjamin about the motivations and vision behind his game. Gabriela talks about some of the twists and turns that came up in her shtetl story.
What about actual play of Dream Askew? Friends at the Table featured it as a backer-exclusive game, for anyone who supports them over Patreon.
Unwinnable ran an excellent feature on Dream Askew, queer representation in games, and the politics underpinning this project.
Or maybe you're interested in a profile piece about Avery and her entire body of work? Two have come out in the past few days: one on Gnome Stew, and the other on the German/English site Erzählspiel-Zine.
Finally, Brie Sheldon asked both Avery and Benjamin some really thoughtful and compelling questions on their blog, Thoughty.
How You Can Help
While all this press has been delightful and amazing, we know that Kickstarter runs on word-of-mouth. If you're keen to support this project, we'd love it if you spread the word on twitter, facebook, or wherever it is that you frequent. It can be as simple as sharing a few words of enthusiasm, or one of the links above.
We're in our final week. Our remaining stretch goals are going to be revealed tomorrow, slated for $55k and $60k. I'm so excited about the momentum behind this campaign, and I hope you'll help us carry it through for a strong finish.
Really looking forward to celebrating a successful campaign at the end of the week!
