Forget the Old Way of Record Podcast Interviews
What We Asking For
Auxbus has created software that makes it easy for you to plan and record your show, and it automatically assembles and publishes for you. Now we have an extra special feature up our sleeve to make Auxbus even better: Auxbus Connect — remote interviews right inside Auxbus. This new technology is ultra easy, and maintains quality as good as being in the same room together!
To use Auxbus Connect, you click a button to launch a call-in session, email or text a link to your guest(s), and they're connected instantly. Nothing to download, no logging in, and nothing to install. You can interview guests or add a co-host to your podcast episode from anywhere in the world!
Unlike the current methods of recording interviews used by most podcasters that are subject to bad sound quality, dropouts, and having to download and upload files with multiple different apps and software, Auxbus Connect:
- records each person locally, so there's no loss of quality over the internet
- automatically combines them, so you don't need to do
- works inside Auxbus, so you won't have to switch apps or software
We want your interviews to sound professional and crisp! Just like a french fry in a bow tie.
Since you record right inside Auxbus, you won’t need to go through all the downloading and uploading files between different tools and systems. You’ll never need to leave Auxbus while making your podcast from start to finish.
We need your help to get Auxbus Connect over the finish line, tested and integrated into Auxbus so everyone can host and listen to podcast interviews that sound great.
What We Have Done Already
We've worked hard to develop the underlying technology and user interface for Auxbus Connect. We have a great working standalone version today, and now we need to put the final polish on it, as well as test it thoroughly as we integrate it into Auxbus. If you are interested in being a tester for Auxbus Connect, let us know. Send us a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Auxbus Connect is coming up on being fully complete. We’re planning its public release within Q4 2019, shortly after the Kickstarter ends.
- October 1 - Kickstarter starts (yay!)
- October 31 - Kickstarter ends (also Halloween)
- November - Testers get pre-release Auxbus Connect (also, sweaters)
- Late November/Early December - Auxbus Connect public launch
Auxbus was founded by Dan Radin in 2018 and headquartered in Asheville, NC. Auxbus started out with a plan to make better podcast creation easier. We launched in August 2019, and the reception has been awesome from experienced and new podcasters alike. We just were just named a Top 10 Startup to Watch by NC Tech and we're honored to be gaining recognition!
Who We Are
Auxbus is a team of passionate people who care deeply about the company and the product we're creating. We come from different backgrounds, combining our marketing, design, engineering, product management, and audio skills to creatively and efficiently solve the obstacles that stand in the way of audio content creators and their consumers.
Risks and challenges
We are still growing our user base and have acquired 1,000 users so far, who have given Auxbus an average 4.8 out of 5 review. The simple fact is that we need more champions and cheerleaders for Auxbus to help us gain exposure and grow. We have put hard work and time into creating Auxbus, including the remote interview feature, and we want people to use it and enjoy it.
Like any product development, there could be delays or unforeseen complications. We might find bugs that need to be fixed, there might be complications in integrating into the Auxbus system, and there could be other issues out of our control like power outages, political instability, or weather that could slow us down. But you have our pledge to be open and honest with you if these things happen. If we get something wrong, we'll make it right.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
