So to use me for the domains at war all I need to do is choose the 10 dollar option for dwimermount backers? And I won't be charged when its done?
Tavis, I for one do appreciate the compilations you put up for us. Things like that are the reason why I backed the project.
Thanks for the quick response. I'm definitely going to be upping and getting a full array of ACKS gear, partly to say thanks for doing such a wonderful job in keeping things afloat for Dwimmermount.
I'm okay with how things are going. I'm pleased with the level of communication. My only problem now is deciding which of the two systems I want my physical copy in.
Doh! One coupon per order. Sorry about not seeing that earlier.
Thanks for the update Tavis, as always.
@Jason, as each version and pledge item is completed we'll put it up for sale (e.g. PDFs which are ready as soon as they're done) or pre-order (e.g. print items, which we'll start pre-orders as soon as they go to the printer) at Game Salute, which is our partner for purchases outside the KS system and also fulfilling the existing backer rewards. Note that the Dwimmermount discount coupons won't apply to these items, because then people who didn't pledge for them originally would get them cheaper than those who did!
@Greg, the limit of one coupon per product (or Kickstarter) is intended to avoid the situation you describe. It's still possible we're the ones making a stupid mistake, but a small RPG company that survives long enough to put out eight products, and thus use up that $80 in coupons, before it goes bankrupt is still doing pretty well. In addition to everything we're making for Domains at War, we also have an introductory adventure, The Sinister Stone of Sakkara, that is in the final stages of development and several other things moving down the pipeline.
Tavis, aren't you going to bankrupt Autarch? For instance, there are 288 Dwimmermount backers at the $40 level. So they each get $80 worth of coupons. These can buy the ACKS pdf + hardback *and* the ACKS Players Companion + pdf ($75) total. So you may be sending out 576 hardbacks for free. Can that possibly be right? What stupid mistake am I making in coming to this conclusion? :-)
Fantastic update, Tavis!
Any info about how to pledge extra to buy the ACKS version of Dwimmermount on top of the LL version, or get access to the other pledge items if they weren't originally pledged, such as the Map Booklet in print?
