Now Sweden's C4 Electronics has released the Dolry Stone, a cute little device that's claimed to be the world's first 30-pin adapter compatible with Apple AirPlay, DLNA, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct.

Wily canceled...I hope the Skye isn't a generic rebrand, too.

@Juan: It isn’t possible to hardware enable Airplay and Bluetooth simultaneously on an Android device. The only possibility to enable AirPlay is through apps and some of them offer a seamless user experience.

if Airplay was enabled on the prototype can it be enabled on the final product? I don't like the idea of using an app for airplay since the biggest selling point for me would be having airplay along with Bluetooth. Bluetooth audio even 4.0 is much poorer than airplay which also doesn't have such a close range restriction like Bluetooth does.

@Lee Teck Koon: The product shown on Aliexpress is one of the earlier prototypes of wily which seem to have leaked out from our manufacturing partner’s end, a serious breach of confidentiality. As seen on the Aliexpress page, the product is not available for sale anymore as there weren’t many prototypes that were made. We’ve been digging deep into this issue since the time it’s come to our notice but have hit a roadblock due to Chinese New Year. Thank you all for the heads up. Appreciate it!

But they already have a product with a single core CPU for sale on aliexpress & they have airplay.

@Juan: Sorry for the typo error in the previous comment.
Thanks for the heads up. We started work on wily more than a year ago, long before our skye campaign even started. Yes, Ampeq is our contract manufacturing partner who helped us develop and prototype wily. We’re surprised that they chose to present our prototype at the exhibition which they weren't supposed to. So be rest assured that wily is not a rebranded product.

@Elijah We don't want wily to be very heavy as that would affect portability. However it weighs just right at 2.3 lbs.

You guys did a better marketing Package than the Chinese. But it's exactly the same item.

      By similar you mean IDENTICAL?

$99? Umm any thoughts on this Auris?

    12. Creator Ben Combee on February 2, 2014

Is this the same device as the Ampeq SoundPad 2 described at http://liliputing.com/2014/01/ampeq-soundpad-2-android-media-player-sports-stereo-3w-speakers.html? They look very similar.

    13. Creator Elijah Craig on February 2, 2014

I suggest making the speaker feel more substantial than the Skye, which has no weight at all.

@Juan Thanks for your continued support. We shall ensure that the Bluetooth doesn't let you down.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure the Bluetooth works better than the original Auris! Any plays to sneak airplay into it :D I backed the 16GB version and can't wait to see more updates as it gets closer to delivery date!
