About this project
Biggest Baddest Baddie Ages 13+
Biggest Baddest Baddie is a crazy card game where you attempt to build the Baddest Baddie you possibly can to defeat your friends. Your baddie can range from a werewolf in armor to a Giant Chicken that can breathe fire.
Why Play Biggest Baddest Baddie?
If you love multiplayer games where crazy things can happen, this game is just right for you! It is time to use your baddie to take down your friends one by one, and become the Biggest Baddest Baddie!
This chaotic monster building game already has expansions in the works to add even more monster fighting fun! We have planned 3 expansions to the game so far to add more diversity.
If you are looking for a game to play in under 30 minutes (or even 20), Biggest Baddest Baddie is a great fit. There are some politics to the game, which means you will have some negotiating going on at the table. Alliances can be formed, or even a whole table can turn against one person if the time is right.
What is Auraplex Studios?
We are a company just starting out making games that wants to open up jobs in our area of Southwest Virginia, and other regions as we grow. Our area is losing jobs, so we pray we can stop that trend. In a poverty stricken area, it is hard to see people suffer. This company could bring new life to an area that is dying out. As a tabletop game company, we hope to bring new and exciting games to world.
What is a Baddie?
Your baddie is a monster set out to do your bidding. This can range from werewolves, to robots, and even to a Gladiator. As you enter the game, you must realize your baddie is equipped with its own damage and defense bonus. It also has a built in health score to tell how much damage it can take.
In order to become stronger in BBB, you must add equipment to your baddie. These range from items such as a hammering arm, all the way to a chariot as a mount. These equipment add defense or attack damage to a baddie. In order to play an equipment, you must discard the appropriate amount of cards, shown in the top right corner.
Spells can often be played on other player's turns, which adds to the randomness of the game. These allow you to interact with the opponent much more.
How Do I Play?
At the start of the game, each player draws 5 cards, and places a Baddie from his/her hand onto the battlefield. If a player does not have a Baddie, he/she may send 3 cards back to the deck to try for a Baddie. If this is unsuccessful, that player shuffles his/her hand into the deck and draws a new hand. Players roll to see who goes first. The turn order will go clockwise from that player. The first turn in simply the setup stage, and the game starts turn order on the next turn.
At the beginning of each turn, the player draws a card. Then, that player may equip his/her baddie with whatever is in his/her hand. Equipment cards have a number in the corner, which is the cost of the card. This number tells how many cards must be discarded to play the card.
When you decide to attack another baddie, add all of your attack together (Equipment, attack bonus, ect) and subtract the opposing baddies defense bonuses from it. Then shows how much damage was inflicted. Subtract this number from the opposing Baddie's health. When you defeat a baddie in combat, that player loses the game. You may draw a card for being victorious.
On your turn, you may choose to replace your baddie with one from your hand. If you do, place that baddie into the discard pile with all equipment attached to it.
The last surviving baddie takes the crown as the true Biggest Baddest Baddie! Have fun!
Baddie in the middle?
If you choose, you can allow a baddie to be played in the middle of the table. Control of this baddie changes between players, starting with the player going last, and going counter-clockwise. To start, flip 5 cards from the deck into the middle. Choose a baddie from among them, and place it face up. Put the rest of the cards into the discard pile. Cards in the discard pile count as the middle baddie's hand. To play cards, remove the appropriate cost of cards from the game.
Ex: If a card costs 2, remove 2 cards in the discard pile from the game.
