Having launched both the core book and the first expansion to our table top RPG series. We have taken the next step and started a line of adventures to take place in the Carmine world. Our first campaign is "The Codex of Pandemonium" which takes players on a mysterious journey to many parts of Carmine, looking for a holy man named Rashid, but finding themselves involved with a deeper mystery that may end in the destruction of the land!
Codex is broken down into 3 adventures, part 1, 2 & 3, that will make up a full campaign that is on course to break 200 pages.
Part 1 will release on December 23 and links will be sent to everyone that day.
Part 2 will release mid January.
Part 3 will be released mid February.
Once Part 3 is released we will also send out physical copies to those who ordered them. Everyone ordering Physicals will also receive the digital copies as they are released.
Our goal is $220 which we intend to use to cover any printing costs we incur, and cover advertising. If we break $500 we want to start upgrading our equipment so we can do more in house.
Risks and challenges
Our potential delays are those of most projects done by a group of people who also have to have day jobs and that is that things in life explode and cause delays. That said, first drafts of all the writing are already done. Playtesting is partly done, art and editing is where most everything lies at the moment.
If life delays art, we have backup artists we can get in to make things happen and if life delays the editor we are prepared to track down someone else to get the job done. That said, we are keeping our fingers crossed that everything runs smoothly.
As far as physical copies go, the Core book and TitD are already produced and we do the printing and binding in house so there should be little to no delay on the physical copies of the adventure.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
