LIFE IN SUSPENSION
Liberate the Music - Help us Release our Debut EP
Life In Suspension, the debut record of Ojai, California's rock noir band, The Seraphim Rising, has already been recorded, mixed and mastered. We tracked the album live at the legendary Swing House studio in Hollywood, Ca. The authentic, raw sound of our performance was brilliantly captured and mastered by the dedicated artists at Swing House using a combination of vintage gear along with digital mixing to create a one of a kind experience. With a little help from you, we can present this work in its intended form.
Our vision is a limited edition CD release that includes 1000 replications complete with custom, fine art work illustrating the story behind the title. The fundraising goal for this project will cover the costs of replication and printing. Additional funds will go toward publishing fees, poster/t-shirt printing, one of a kind merch. creations and tour support.
This project is more than a labor of love, it is a labor of life. With every drop of the blood, sweat and vomit it has taken to complete this record, we thank you for your contribution.

"The Real Deal." - Daniel Ash (Bauhaus, Tones on Tail, Love and Rockets)
Haunting and soulful, The Seraphim Rising are a return to substance. Formed in 2008 in Ojai, California, the band manifests a passionate, hard rock sound with elements of folk, psychedelic and gothic rock that has been described as art rock or rock noir.
The Seraphim Rising released their first single "Raise the Dead" in the Summer of 2011. Most of the Swing House recordings were released digitally on Halloween 2011 as a six song EP entitled "Life In Suspension". The record features four original songs as well as two covers - Venus in Furs of The Velvet Underground and Lucretia, My Reflection of The Sisters of Mercy. Mini tours of Northern and Southern California, Oregon and Washington are in the works for Spring/Summer of 2012 and the band is enjoying the invaluable support and attention of some of the undergrounds most celebrated artists...
