ROACH PARTY! The Dice Game
An easy to learn and simple to play dice game where players take the role of tenants encountering an unusual infestation.
This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Fri, September 21 2018 3:00 AM UTC +00:00.
Roach Party! The Dice Game of Humans vs. Roaches is an easy to learn and simple to play semi-cooperative dice game where the players take the role of tenants facing an unusual roach infestation. To win, you and your fellow tenants must wipe out the roaches completely or find the source of the infestation!
Roach Party! comes with 16 custom molded dice, a dice pouch, a card stock Infestation Level tracker, and the rules. Roach Party! is a limited edition game that is available exclusively through this Kickstarter campaign. If there are any leftover games from this Kickstarter campaign they will be made available for purchase on our website, but once those are gone, this edition will be retired. Attack Dice may at a future date decide to introduce a new edition of Roach Party! but we will not be offering this edition again.
Roach Party! is powered by our TrioDice engine. A set of rules featuring custom made six-sided dice with three symbols on them in a 3:2:1 ratio of appearance. The three symbols on the roach dice are the Splat Roach, who has perished by your hand and sent to Roach Heaven, the Runner Roach, who escapes death and flees to another tenant's home, and the Egg Roach, who lays in wait until the time is right for it to hatch.
Roach Party! The Dice Game is a semi-cooperative game because you are not bound to work together to clear the infestation. With a little luck and some clever moves you can survive the roach infestation and not get evicted.

Once again we are in need of your help in raising funds for our third game, Roach Party! The Dice Game of Humans vs. Roaches. This game is very dear to us because it's the game that spearheaded our company in 2012. In our first published dice game, When Zombies Attack!, we changed the subject from roaches to zombies and changed the rules to better fit the theme, but our original fans kept pleading for us to release the original version. Well, here it is. This version, although slightly different from the original rules, has improved game play mechanics, and the addition of the Infestation Level Tracker. We hope you all enjoy it and have as much fun playing it as we have had in producing it!
These additional items are available to you for this Kickstarter project at no additional shipping charge. Not only will you save on shipping but you can also enjoy our other games that use the TrioDice system.
If you wish to add to your pledge, simply include the additional dollar amount and indicate your add-on choice when confirming your pledge at the end of the project on your survey.
Upon reaching the following total pledge amounts new items will be available to all tenant level pledges. Spread the word to reach these goals and unlock more stuff.
Risks and challenges
The good news, this is NOT Attack Dice's first attempt to publish a game. We have learned a lot about publishing our other two games, When Zombies Attack! and Dungeon Attack!, and with this experience we know we can deliver a high quality product that is easy on your wallet, quick to understand and play, and most of all a whole lot of fun!
The bad news, there are factors not under our direct control. Shipping delays, factory errors, and customs inspection from overseas manufacturing are always a possibility, but we will do everything in our power to minimize these risks.
Finally, some of the images and items shown in this Kickstarter project may differ from the final product. The dice depicted here are prototypes made to play test the game and so the final product may not be of the same color and shape (square corners versus round corners, different shade of ink, etc).
No matter what, Roach Party! will see the light of day as it is 90% ready to go to the manufacturer. We have been play testing Roach Party! for the last six months and the feedback has been positive. Your help in getting to our goal means we can add more and better components and get it published sooner than we originally planned.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
