Supernatural Socks is a silly game about losing socks in the laundry.
Players have a hand limit of seven cards, which are composed of socks and ghosts.
The game is played in three phases.
In the first phase, all players will simultaneously play three socks face down in front of them. When all players have placed socks down they will reveal them in turn order, applying all card effects and placing them in their relevant place on the board.
In the second phase, all players will be able to play up to two ghosts (some of which are offensive and others defensive against other players).
In the third phase, all socks in the dryer move to that player's Laundry Basket where they score points and socks in the washer move to the dryer. Players draw back up to the hand limit of seven cards and then repeat the cycle.
* The rulebook is currently not finalized as we're hiring a rulebook editor to make our final changes and improve the readability.

We're just your average Joe's with extraordinary dreams of making our games a reality. We started with a game called Cul-De-Sac Conquest - where players compete to annoy their neighbors out of their neighborhood in a hilarious last man standing battle of colossal proportions. We launched on Kickstarter and raised over $20k dollars in only a month. Woohoo!
We then launched Mutant Crops, which raised over $12.5k and has already begun delivery to our backers.
Now we're back to bring our third game, Supernatural Socks, to market with your help!
We have experience creating and delivering games, but still are quite small and rely on Kickstarter to make our projects a reality. None of this would be possible without the amazing assistance provided by our Kickstarter backers. We cannot thank you enough for checking out our campaign. If you have any questions/comments/concerns after reading through the campaign please do let us know, our email is:
Here are some of the development shots of what went into the game.
Risks and challenges
Atheris Games is well-versed in risks and challenges. We've learned an incredible deal from our first campaign for Cul-De-Sac Conquest. We've made a plethora of mistakes and encountered every obstacle that one could think of - which raised our costs, and extended our ship date.
However, we learned from that and delivered Mutant Crops on-time to our Kickstarter backers!
Though we're sure we will encounter some mistakes again we feel that we have learned a great deal to prevent them. Also, we have added a more solid buffer in our shipping time to account for any potential problems.
Furthermore, our transparency with our backers and our communication is of supreme importance to us. We continually update our campaigns so backers know our progress.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
